  • Same comment as "somnolentsurfer". To VMware: come on people, think! We bought a Mac not to run Windows but to run the MacOS. We install Windows for the few programs which do not exist on the Mac. So our main platform is the MacOS. We want to be able to mirror the Windows folders to the MacOS, not the reverse.

  • I don't think you guys understand how VMware fusion works. It is not dual boot like Boot Camp where you choose which OS you want when booting the computer. Fusion is a program that runs INSIDE of mac OS. You Boot into MacOS then run Windows inside a MacOS window. Thus, you can play your Windows games inside MacOS and still access your iMail, iCal, etc.....

  • The point with this here is that now Fusion can directly read your Mac's doc folder, so you can use Word 2007 for Windows (a program that they don't have for Mac) as your default word processor for Mac, and still store all your documents in the Mac OS system and be fully integrated with Finder etc.....

  • This is all pretty sweet, but what I really want is the reverse of this. I mainly use Windows for gaming, so I want all the accesses shown here when booted natively in Windows through Boot Camp, and likewise to be able to run Apple Mail, iCal, Address Book, iPhoto and my OSX iTunes library from Windows
