I'm in Siberia (Russia) and we have lots of local food now too!!
My fav #1 is FRESH CORIANDER! The smell of it makes me happy! (don't know why!) but since I figured out, that coriander GREAT for KIDNEYS, so it's for me sure!
#2 is TOMATO big red tomato from my parent's garden!
#3 cucumbers
#4 zucchinis from my hubby parent's garden! :) this summer i falled in love with taste of fresh zucchini!!
#5 is watermelon, but we don't have local ones, only from Uzbekistan but I LOVE THEM!!
@MissMatania Wow I didn't think in Siberia was possible to grow so much vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers which need lots of warm and sun...especially because we usually imagine Siberia like the most freezing cold place in the world!:-P (here when we want to say that is really really cold we say "siberian like")It's funny to discover such a new thing!!!Thanks :-)
@Fantasvale We grow cucumbers and tomato in glass greenhouse! We even grow watermelons in greenhouse but they arelight pink inside, not red and have grapefruit-size:)) (but we grow them for fun, cause we buy not-local watermelons)
We have very cold summer this year! about +15 C all the summer :(( but some days we had +30, that was good! Greetings from Siberia!
Hi there, I live in Germany (I'm italian tho'), and here too, it's harvest season. Lots of wonderful cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and berries... thank you so much for your videos!! Greetings from Europe :-)

Do you get sprite melons? They are incredible. They taste like a cross between a honeydew and a pear. Great. Nikki

Cantaloupe is amazing!!! I have tried to grow some the past couple years, but hasn't quite worked out :(

I LOVE farmers markets for that exact reason. You get fruits and vegetables that were just picked and not forced to ripen using chemicals.

Is the produce at that Farmers Market organic?
blueBlackpurple 1 year ago
@blueBlackpurple you should always ask, some farms are in transition and not /certified/ but in the process of going organic, that would be good too.
