I remember hearing when DS9 first aired that a lot of Odo's physical fighting would be done via effects but Rene did the hand to hand stuff pretty well didn't he?

The thing I'll always remember is that just before the premiere aired I had gotten Police Academy 5 on tape for my birthday (Hey I was still in High School then) so when Rene A. came out as the constable I did a double take, but he became a fave quick, he did great work!
