I liked this video, can't say anything bad about her voice. Something about her voice just pierces me wrong, i just didn't like how she sang this song... If you want to judge on power and control then she has got to be one of the best people to sing this song, ever. BUT if you add the emotion to the equation (which you basically have to) then yea she drops down the list. This is still amazing though

Definitely the best contestant EVER! by my estimation. I am just so surprised that it took the X factor to bring her to light. She has become the benchmark as far as reality singing contestant is concerned. She blows me away everytime she sings. She's just spot on. And humble too.

No one said Collide isn't her own material. I was referring to this x-factor video 'Summertime' as not being her own material. But all professional pop music productions will use some sort of vocal software to finely sculpture the vocal.
It is interesting to know it was her decision to do Collide but it still doesn't change what I think of the track!

@L0tteJones collide is definitely not auto tuned she said herself she'll never be auto tuned even though producers tried to push it on her, she doesn't want it, she said it makes her sound like a robot and she'll never do it, she rather not do the song at all

@IncredibleLyrics No arguments. I just stated facts. The arrangement is the same as Fantasia's, and she's even barefoot like Fantasia. Also, she sang that song with no soul, emotion, and authenticity of the "Porgy and Bess" play it came from---Fantasia did. And Leona has flopped on her 2nd album in the U.S. Fantasia made 4 million dollars last year---so I'll rather get unnoticed and make 4 million than get offended over the truth. Leona is my favorite new singer, but fact is fact! No offense!

Leona is more relevant in the UK than Fantasia, because Tasia hardly gets mainstream promotion like Jennifer Hudson & Beyonce. Fantasia is targeted straight to r&b and adult contemporary markets. But, Tasia has a lot "industry veterans" who respects her talent, but her reputation in the public has been marred. Leona got bad promotion in the U.S. on her last cd, and so did Fantasia--except for the suicide attempt.

@IncredibleLyrics Leona cracked the U.S. because of Simon Cowell and the Mariah Carey buzz----from Simon Cowell, who got her booked on Oprah, and the popular morning shows. Even American artists don't get that kind of promotion.
