  • nope

  • no way it's fleeing. he took a few steps back and the other guy shot

  • more like he sprawled backwards to avioid the shot

  • Stalling for sure. But I believe he should of gotten a takedown, he still had both his feet in the circle

  • stalling...not fleeing

  • No takedown and I know Im a wrestling coach

  • He sprawled but it's a HWY WGT match, so you can't expect much action

  • NO.

  • Iv been wrestling for 5 years now im a sophmore in high school. And that is def not fleeing the mat. he just sprawled.

  • It's called being tired?You can tell he's tired...

  • what call am I supposed to make? who's fatter? too close to call.

  • just looked like the big boys doing what they do best, being tired

  • he was stalling, but not fleeing (looking for safe haven) I would give a warning

  • noooooo

  • stalling, but not fleeing.

  • no

  • where did he flee??? looked like good mat awareness to me

  • stalling probably, SMART WRESTLING? yes

  • no

  • no

  • stalling at best, no way he is fleeing

  • It depends. It's STALLING at the very least but say he's been doing this all match, then IT DEFINATELY BECOMES A FLEE.

  • no

  • Both guys were too high

  • Get this shit off Youtube. These kids cannot wrestle. It gives the sport a bad name.

  • no

  • no

  • no not fleeing. the guy just sucks at sprawling

  • You shot on him at the line... where else is he going to sprawl without giving up points?

  • Are you kidding?? I assume you're the one (video poster) who was the wrestler against the guy being accused...

He's only looking for angles on you, and what I used to do, is watch the guy I wrestled and see his tendencies...(I post up my hand on his head - does he grab it? I circle towards my lead foot - is he setting up to shoot it? ETC.) The dude wasn't fleeing, he was sizing you up. IMPO

  • Stalling? Sure

Fleeing the mat? Not even close

  • Not fleeing AT all.

  • thats definitely not fleeing the mat whoever said it was doesnt know wrestling

  • once again this kid does not no wrestling if he believes tht was fleeing the mat. come to PA and wrestle real men

  • @tubtub39 finally a PA guy haha what district do you wrestle for? D11 here

  • I meant to add that if the blocking and backing up continued or was a continuation of earlier actions. a stalling call could be made.

  • I cannot call that fleeing. The natural direction of his sprawl carried him out. He did not appear to be looking for the line.

  • hey it's john gioffre

  • These two guys are so hot. I would love to rim their tight, muscular asses & deep throat their beefy cocks after a sweaty match.

  • no way

  • nope. just being defensive. Is this in fresno?

  • no

  • no just defensive wrestling

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!! one of them is over weight

  • hell no!

  • no, he was avoiding getting taken down

  • not at all

  • fuck no its not, its just where the match ended up, thats all

  • I wrestled for 9 years and I referee high school wrestling now. In my opinion it wasn't fleeing the mat. I would never call it based on what i just saw.

  • no its not

  • The best athletes in HS and college that weigh 197-285lbs......play football. Unfortunately, there are a lot kids on scholarship at the Heavyweight who would get destroyed by any offensive or defensive lineman on their schools football team.

Tell me Suh from Nebraska/Detroit Lions.....could not be a world champion at the Heavyweight division.....if that was his his focus during HS and college.

  • no its not fleeing

  • it is not fleein the mat nd thats in fesno hell ya

  • Fleeing is the biggest bitch move ever, I cant stand when people do that to me.

  • this is so gay.

  • well.... he stepped back so in a way he is fleeing because were not supposed to do that so depends on the ref...

  • nope

  • definitely not

  • no points at all

  • stalling

  • no

  • no not even close

  • watching heavy weights are so boring.

  • who loses a head chancery like that??

  • No but i would make him...jk

  • No not fleeing the mat.

  • yeah their both pretty horrible... but their not as bad as they seem... im a 135... natural 155... but ik heavyweight can seem like their going really slow but they all do

  • both suck and no he's not fleeing the mat.

  • nope. maybe a stalling. but not fleeing.

  • No thats not anywhere close to fleeing the mat

  • thats not fleeing the mat at all

  • well concidering he wasnt attacking. and if he kept backing up consistantly.. then yes it is fleeing the mat.

  • Def looks like stalling ...

  • heavy weights dont matter anyway? 130 to 189 is all the good wrestling

  • @MrFullbreed too bad imma 119 and ranked.

  • @KidKhaos3812

yo dude im 135. and placed 3rd at state i was ranked 7th in the state but ended up getting 3rd erion zekthi look it up. talk more shit idiot id fucking wreck you

  • @MrFullbreed lets just agree that both of are not that good of wrestlers.. collegiate new england champion... so suck it. and stop pretending like your tough erion, we both know that the only reason your talking shit on youtube is because there is virtually no way anyone could react to what your saying/hurt you physically (and you know that)

  • @MrFullbreed dog.. dont even get me started. i went to state in grecko and freestyle and was 2nd in brakemans.i didnt go to state this year because of an injury. plus im a brown belt in jui jitsu, i know my way around the mats.. only had 2 losses this year. was to the same kis and he went on to place 1st in state and went on to Senior Nationals.

  • @KidKhaos3812 how the fuck do you go to senior nationals if your a fuckiing freshman you lying faggot

  • @DeiTy4GuiTar He was a senior, and it wasnt at senior nationals u idiot.

  • @KidKhaos3812 oops read it wrong bruh my apologies

  • @MrFullbreed plus im a freshman

  • The refs would call fleeing the mat if he has a stalling call against him already or is stalling, but it does look like double stalling haha

  • Double stalling haha

  • No

  • Lester youre gay. It's the most demanding and hardest sport ever created.

  • gayest sport ever.

  • @lester5192 is a dumbass! Just cause you're too big of a pussy to do it doesn't mean its gay!

  • @motocrossjasa oh i could do it but i don't need to feel a man's crotch or have his in my face, rubbing up on each other all sweaty and hott and starting up a match doggy style? sup up with that? lol.

    you're gay.

  • not even close

  • No

  • its not fleeing the mat if the kid has to move backwards to defend the shot. he's not going to let his opponent get a takedown just so they don't go out of bounds...

  • perhaps stalling, but not fleeing the mat

  • yea im a freshman in high school and iv been wrestling sence i was 6 he oblesly walked back towred the edge of the mat

  • no

  • not even close

  • def not....

  • not fleeing the mat at all.

  • nooooooooooo

  • not even close

  • no, not fleeing the mat

  • Not fleeing the mat. Would have to see more to tell you if it was stalling or not.

  • nope. just stalling on the guy who did nothing.

  • fleeing the matt? no. stalling maybe....

  • i really dont give a shit

  • they look like the same person lol

  • He sprawled out of bounds, no fleeing.

  • Ya that isnt fleeing the mat

  • yes stalling and fleeing the mat...he put fourth no effort to cycle or stay on the mat

  • not fleeing the mat just a sprawl out of bounds. and two seconds before that he took a shot

  • oh was this at the barry center? ur singlet said cinco ranch i go to cy ridge

  • Not stalling.

  • Not fleeing or stalling , was leaning toward the stalling side until he took a shot . Although i do think he should not be wrestling if his going to run away like he did but a stalling call would have to be longer then that or else everyone would be hit for stalling

  • It was stalling if he was facing the direction instead of backing up it would of been fleeing. Or at least I'm pretty sure

  • hahaha pause at 0:14 he turned his head 180 degrees hahahaha

  • @yourpapi102 hahahahaha

  • noo.....not fleeing at all....could see a call in the area of stalling tho

  • is this chancellor at the virginia duals? thats my team

  • refs tend to be more leniant with the stalling calls when it comes to the big guys

  • our team in new jersey missed going to the state tournament last year because with 5 seconds left our wrestler took one step back in his stance.(he didn't even make it out of the center circle) and he was charged 1 point for "evading wrestling"

  • not even a big deal

  • No this is not fleeing the mat. If you make that call there, you're a complete dumbass. You could make the case for stalling but he's moving away from an obvious disadvantageous position e.g. first the front headlock and then the underhook.

  • STALLING!

  • stalling yes...fleeing, no

  • As a Highschool wrestling official, NO this is not fleeing the mat. If the wrestler who was backing up was winning then the ref may hit him with a stalling call. He did not flee the mat but he was not being aggressive and because the other wrestler made a valid effort to score the final result should have be a stalling call

  • @wlwllmn135 Stalling is stalling - regardless of the score and period of the match.

  • @wlwllmn135 what does the score have to do with stalling? Does the ruls change or its application?

  • @skandranion the wrestler who is winningthe match will generally avoid wrestling (stalling) the score really doesnt mean anything because idk who waseinning this match, but it makes it easier for a ref to call stalling if the man that is winning is not being aggressive

  • No, he dove like it was an ankle pick, that's not fleeing.

  • Didn't look like it from this angle.

  • I am a ref and that is not fleeing the mat! If that was called that kid got cheated! And no I dont think it was fleeing the mat!

  • no take down he wasn't even high on his hips no take down

  • umm he went out the circle yall r stupid haha

  • No he's just tired off his ass. haha

  • not at all two fatigued wrestlers staying busy

  • no that waz not fleeing the mat... iv wrestled for 7 years and when u get tired u dont really relize wat ur doing but ya that waznt fleeing

  • yes, just cause everyone is saying no. :)

  • Fleeing? Probably not.

    Stallling? Yes definately.

And if we could see the shooters are still in it will also be a takedown.

  • no...its shot defence

  • No.

  • no.

  • no way. shouldn't have even been stalling because the wrestler was trying to circle in somewhat. A takedown should have been rewarded.

  • nope

  • nah

  • nope, not even close

  • nope

  • no wasnt fleeing

  • no reason for fleeing the mat im guessing you are just being a sore loser cause you lost

  • its not fleeing the mat but it should have been called stalling

  • Stalling

  • ok unlike these people ill make it short and simple.. it is fleeing the mat because you didnt do anything but step back.. thats why

  • stall definately, fleeing is an act to avoid wrestling by leaving the circle or cylinder, so either you disengage and leave the wrestling area or you force your opp. out of the wrestling area in order to stop wrestling. This wrestler took a very feeble shot/knee slap and backed up. STALL. From the video it looks as if The other wrestler should have been awarded the take down because the stalling wrestler conceded it and also been warned for the stall in addition

  • is this the right call heavy weights overtime lindbergh gets called stalling then the other kid blast doubles and lindbergh throws him double over to his back lindbergh on top still inbounds and got called for stalling lindbergh loose and that kid got first in the tournament

  • fleeing no way stalling maybe yes and it looks like the ref stopped the match to early could have been two takedown

  • I wouldn't say fleeing the mat, but definately stalling.

  • Possibly the 3rd period there also very large i usually feel sick around 3rd period but i always try to keep moving

  • They're big guys. We all know they've only got the gas for about 30 sec. and then all teqnique goes out the window. The reason he didn't sprawl is because he was gassin.

  • i would call it fleeing the mat because there didnt seem to be any real sprawl attempt... he backed out and off the mat while still on his feet

  • what are you supposed to do when a guy takes a shot? walk into it???

  • ummm sprawl.

  • rhetorical question...

  • this could go either way.

it could also be a stalling call too.

the man is backing away from his opponent and the opponent is just shooting and shooting just trying to score two and it appears at the end he did score his two points.

  • last week i got a offensive fleeing the mat....i was on top the guy tried to stand up and ran out and i could barely keep up wit him and i was the one who got hit wit fleein the mat

  • no fleeing

  • wasnt fleeing

  • Wasnt feeling at all

  • i wouldt say fleeing..hejust doesnt know what to do so he walks backward and when the other guy shoots he spralls and then the whistle blows for out of bounds

  • If anything I would call stalling, I wouldn't say that was fleeing the mat

  • This is indeed fleeing the mat. When the opponent finally took a shot on him before the video ends, he goes out of bounds, no attempt to reverse the takedown attempt. There was nothing that signaled that the guy was not fleeing the mat. Circle in, circle in, circle in. The refs say that for a reason.

  • yea i agree, since he sprawled its clean and they should just reset

  • wrestling 101... Always circle in... Don't give the ref an excuse to hit you for staling or fleeing in this case... and with you being a big guy, they look a lot alike in the last seconds of the third period or overtime...

  • Nah, this isn't fleeing. I've seen fleeing. My buddy was wrestling 145 and his opponent was literally doing the stupid wheelbarrow walk, to try and get across the line. After he did that 3 times, he got DQ'd.

  • the same thing happened to my friend. He wrestled 171 and the guy stalled 3 times. He kept backing up, so he got DQ'd. I can see some stalling, but no fleeing.

  • ohio is the touphes wrestling state

  • no because when the guy went for the shot the other guy tryed to sprawl

  • ok i jst started wrestling this past season so im still a little iffy on the rules, wats the difference between stalling and fleeing is it still like apoint penalty or watever

  • thats not fleeing, but going backwards puts some doubt, so the brighter idea is to circle

  • nah

  • No, I don't think it is...he isn't on the offensive in the slightest, but not fleeing

  • I'm a 16 year HS referee. It's a judgement call as to whether it's stalling or fleeing. One has to be called here. He took several steps backward toward the line to avoid being taken down. This puts your fate in the hands of the ref which is NEVER a good idea. Get the takedown and win the match!

  • nope

  • NO that is not fleeing

  • no, its not
