wow, I didn't know there were so many iterations of Life Force...unfortunately, I never touched an arcade of it, but I DID have it on NES!! Sweet game, but the third level was SO hard, ugh. At least you could pick up your options every time ya blew up...I never did beat that game...

This game WOULD have been my first shooter ever if only the cartridge had worked. No matter what I did it just never worked. Cleaned it, blew on it, put my tshirt over it and blew on it again. Nothing. Sadly Gyruss would claim the position of "First Shooter" for me. I didn't even like it that much...
Too many shooters, can't wait for the Zero Wing entry. Oh, and one question, what version will you use, the genesis or the arcade one? IMHO, I prefer the genesis version, which has some extra tracks like the one of that (in)famous intro. lol

@shalpp Stage 3 Theme; in the Salamander OST it's called "Planet RATIS", which is weird for two reasons:
1) It should be "Planet LATIS"...Damn you, L/R Trainwreck!
2) Latis is just two suns, apparently.
