Conviction of a cop killer - they rewrote the scene so all the cops had to whisper - because Jerry had already lost his voice - that priceless voice - to his cancer - I had this episode saved for years - so glad it's here, to remember the last words Jerry ever said as Lennie Briscoe "they got him!" Eternally and deeply missed.....

@maxreger100 No, that was when "Lennie" retired from the station. the next season, Lennie went to work as a part-time investigator for the DA's office on "Law & Order: Trial by Jury", which starred Bebe Neuwirth and is where this clip came from. But by then, Jerry Orbach had been diagnosed with cancer and he was only in a couple of episodes before he died.
