I liked this movie not just for the FX, but also for the realistic way in which a bunch

of blue-collar roughnecks stuck out in the stix with a couple of scientists react to

the alien thing and toward one another. No political correctness, nor any women

to take control of the out-of-control-sausage fest. They all react in the same way

a bunch of dumb-ass jocks would react in the locker-room if one of them suddenly turned inside out & went alien postal on their macho asses.

The real scary scene for me was when one of the characters disappears and they find him slumped on the floor with messed up hands and screaming in that awful doomed alienic voice. The only scene that sent a big chill down my back.
