Maybe, but even the Taurus is $40,000 now. yes you can Mercedes Audi or BMW  for that amount but it will be the smaller entry level luxury cars like the 3 series. Suppose it all depends on what you are looking for.

It wont be all that cheap and the North American version will be missing most of those nifty features that they show and highlight in this video. Unfortunately this car needs to be more striking in order to sell in the kind of numbers they are hoping for. Hopefully, the Kia Optima will be better or even the Hyundai Azera. At least Americans will buy a premium Hyundai as proven by the Hyundai Genesis sedan and Equus.
