That's one of the best renditions I've heard of this piece. You balanced the fire and the ice! Not too much passion but not too academic (like Pollini). Well maybe a little academic, but I loved this.

IMO it's too fast. but he's played the sustain pedal well. great!

Because this is a performance during a competition, and the audience usuallly are applauding at the end of the selection of pieces.
