@4freespeech.....funny, my experience is the exact opposite. My buddy has a 60 (?) hp Deere and I have a 4 cyl 95 hp Perkins in a 4255 MF and I use less fuel for, a comparable days work than he does. We have taken turns cutting and baling and swapping the tractors out and I'm pretty convinced. Use 'em if you want to, but the only thing green on my farm is the grass.
Nothing beats that JD torque. This engine is just idling along. I know, I have both Masseys and JD's. My 1947 G will out pull my 2005 52 horse Massey. Hate it when that happens.
No,, I know there is Red & Grey stuff out there, I do not own any. I stick with John Deere two cylinder stuff. I ran a MF 2135 for a small town for 19 years, had over 6,000 hours, never had the head or pan off. Oil & filter change every 100 hours. Good tractor
@nate1294 I am LOL at that remark,,my 1941-B is pulling two 14s and plowing around 8 in. deep,,,if you plow a foot deep here where I live, you'd be pulling up clay. Oh and does not matter to me what make the old tractors are,,just so it can be said; Made in America, I like all old farm tractors. Great video thanks for sharing it!
Thanks so much for posting this.....I love old machinery and farming!!! Reminds me of when I used to visit my grandpa's farm as a kid. It was always so great to get away from the hectic city and smell the fresh air....

If the video is turning at the right speed, I'd say she's revving at about 850 RPM.

Tell you what put me off Massey. Them suckers GUZZLE GAS! You can disc
5 acres with a JD on the gas the stinkin Massey uses on 3, (same horsepower).

@sp00ktube, after you drive one for a long time you know what kind of hillside you can and cant be on.
They only easily flip with unexprienced drivers.
