  • This lady has some fucking patience to be doing this.

  • These people have the strongest passion i've seen, to make films that took them days and days just to shoot some minutes of the movie

  • @GhibliOriginals actually it would take a week to get about 5 seconds of the movie in. The whole thing took them 5 years to make

  • why she reminds me of hippo ?

  • @KiroWaka320 get a life

  • @nikiesuan

thank you. i'll buy some in super market : D

  • Coraline was the SCARIEST "kids" movie EVER!!!!!!!! XP

  • Wow maybe when your looking something for your dolls, Fit a little bit of plastic or something, so you don't have a gap between your teeth?

  • She would better become a dentist, than a artist...

  • lol head of the really really small hair department

  • Ah jeez... after half an hour of moving those tiny little strands one by one I'd go insane, scream, and stab the clay repeatedly. XD

  • i wonder how long that would take?

  • I wanna have the Coraline doll they used on this movie. =P

  • @LeuraZel - you need sell both of your kidney.

  • @LeuraZel there was more than one Coraline puppet, and people who worked on the film got them. I want one too, of Coraline and Wybie.

  • wow

  • SUCH TALLENT LOL

  • SUCH TALLENT

  • I'm glad there's a margin for mistake. if there wasn't, and I was animating. I would've been like "DAMMIT" 139 times in a row. XD

  • @Cows2Luv No offense but I preffered it whereas coraline made me feel creeped out

  • i love her necklace!!! lol ew the needle and the armpit hair! ;D funky

  • what part?

  • @bestozesto She isn't naked :/ It's just filmed from a weird angle....I've seen the movie like 5 times and I can tell you with complete confidence there is absolutely no nudity at any point in the film....:/

  • The book came first and was written by NEIL GAIMAN, and the movie was directed by HENRY SELICK.

  • I always wondered how they did the hair!

Plus I always wanted coroline's BLUE hair.

  • her looks soft but i think its not dat..haha but its cool ihate the hair maker or anything wat was it called bec her teeth looks terible i kept on staring at it!!!

  • Uh... Well.. uh.. it is..

  • @kidflashII the only issue i have with coraline the book is that theres no wybie.....

  • You realize that the book came first, right? They added Wybie in.

  • Wrong again. Henry Selick wrote the screenplay.

    The book came first.

  • @kidflashII well, neil did something! *thumps*

  • No thumping or I'll give you a public spanking.

He did the book, not a whole lot more.

  • @Cows2Luv its gaiman. and he still wrote the book first.

  • I'm dying my hair blue. NO ONE CAN STOP ME.

What a rare sight, a black girl with fully blue hair :o But Coraline made me love blue hair all over again.

And did anyone take a look at her picture with her friends in the actual movie? You can see her with her original hair color! Looks like Coraline was a brunette ;3

  • gO FOR IT! wOO-HOO YOU GO, GIRL! I wish I had the guts to do that!

  • dude read the book i liked the movie but it is not nearly as good as the book was im thinking about makeing a manga out of this i love Coraline man best book ever im like 16 and the book scared me its just weird ya know

  • We're reading the book in school its scared me so far too i'll never be able to look at a button in the same way again

  • I liked how the movie was not 'all in you face' 3D.

  • well, that's two of us!

    :D

    you have the dolls?? AWESOME!

  • ew she was doing mr. bobo's armpits and belly =P

  • What kind of clay do they use for the armitures?

  • Awesome! This movie rocks! :D Coraline is so pretty.

  • I know there's gonna be a lot of Coraline cosplays coming up in the near future with that hair lol

  • NO NO NO! Keep evil hentai away from this movie! It doesn't deserve that mess!

  • oh my goodness ys please keep coraline hentai from ever being created.

who are the ppl who make that stuff anyway.

I guess i can understand stuff like naruto and all, cuz that stuffinevitably draws a small perv fanbase. but not with coraline.

  • they have made some hentia of it

  • @Headbanger142 THANK YOU!

  • @Headbanger142 Yah maybe the blue-skinned guy is lolicon :P

  • @Headbanger142

Why not? Rule 34 no exceptions.

  • -.- Nice job ruining stuff.... v.v

  • Wow! I wanna put very very tiny hair on dolls for a living that should be one of the world's awesomest jobs.

  • I agree totally! ^_^

  • wow.....o.o

  • Very Cool!!

  • I was wondering how they did the hair for this movie...I've yet to see it though. :(

  • It would be really cool to have a Coraline doll as a keepsake... do you think the staff got to keep one? Like, if I were Dakota Fanning I'd demand to have one. Coraline's so adorable.

And THIS lady has TALENT! I can hold still for a long time, AND i have no problem with sticking needles into people and I couldn't do that!

  • you can go to ebay and look up coraline and they have coraline dolls there.

  • haha, "really really small hair department."

the way they made this entire movie is so interesting.

  • Does any one know what those puppets are made out of? Like... I'm imagining silicone gel, but that's a guess based off of nothing. any one else have any ideas?

This movie was astounding. If you haven't seen it in 3D it is worth the trip to a theater that offers it.

  • i read the book in gr4 and it was AWSOME! im watching the movie 2moro!

  • COol

  • I love coraline and her cat :)

  • meow

    =^. ^ =

  • That movie was the most wacked but most awesome movie ive ever seen! its my new favorite movie it was just awesome!!!!!!!!

  • so cool!

  • AWSOME<33

  • The movie was awesome, but I didn't see it in 3-D!

I want to go see it in 3-D now!

  • i want blue hair

  • do it

  • I just saw the movie. It is really awsome, and the 3D is amazing. Better than any I've ever seen.

  • I really think the movie was better than the book.. i read it in 3rd grade.

  • That would b so hard. Not to mention this movie 'Coraline' is the longest stop-motion movie to date, at 100 minutes.

  • They did have a lot of tome, considering that the book was released in 2002.

  • Yeah. It took 4 years to make the movie. It was worth every second though... Cuz CORALINE WAS INSANELY AWSOME!!!!

  • Yeah I read it back in 4th grade!!! wow 5 years ago lol.The movie was amazing I saw it today :)

  • yah um i have add and adhd so i couls not pay enuf utansoin to this

  • I couldn't do it. It isn't the punching that I'd have the problem with; it's just that my hands are so unsteady. The last time I tried sewing, the stitches were all funny. (As in, one long one, one small one, one that didn't go through both of the fabrics, another small one, ouch, one that poked my finger, etc.)

  • Me too. I have trimors in my fingers is the cause for mine.

  • im reading the book

  • i want to read it as well.

  • i never read the book but i cant wait for the movie

tim burton is the greatest director ever!! :D

  • the Director is Henry Selick

  • Yeah me neither XoXoticklemeelmo...

But you do realize that Tom Burton doesn't have anything to do with this movie... Right?

  • Oh, my, gosh! I could never get this job! I'm one of those people that aren't delicate with things. Besides, who would want to be obessed with DOLL hair?! By the way, I want to read the book so bad! My friend has it so I think I'll borrow it from her and read it! I'm so excited!!!

  • That job, would be hell.

  • after shoving a few hairs into the clay people with a needle I think I would pass out.

  • omfg i cant wait to see the movie in theatres!

  • I could never, never have this job. I can barely sew or knit they're so delicate a task and I can barely stay in my seat so long....ADD ftw haha.

But on a more serious note, I really hope this movie gets some major recognition. The work put into it in so many aspects is simply astounding.

  • You said it. Neil Gaiman's book is absolutely fantasic and I really hope the movie lives up to it (or at least comes very close)!

  • holy crap shes patient

  • Very delicate and focussed hands! I can't wait for this movie, read the book and it was great!

  • Such precise work!

  • i read this book! it was awesome....but this movie looks better. thanks for uploading this, really cool.

  • CANT WAIT 4 THIS MOVIE!!!! only 23 days left!!

  • That would mean they would have to like measure each hair and cut it at different lengths and oh my so fucking epic this movie will be! prolly the best ever :)
