plus, i like the ps3 too. ive heard many great things about it. but i have the 360 instead cuz of great gameplay. great graphics. great community (although it can get pretty annoying). great console. no rrod has occurred yet. (i had 4 red lights but they do not count cuz i didnt have one of the cables connected properly so that doesnt mean death).

have you even tried the 360? its pretty nice in my opinion. its not shit. the community is great and the content is plentiful. the games are fantastic too and since blu ray is a bit expensive for me, i have a home theater that can run DVDs, plus the controller is excellent. whenever you call it a shit box, you have no idea what you are talking about. the errors and rrods are bad but at least playing the 360 is a great experience. (i am not a fanboy as i have addressed the 360's issues)

Dude, the reason why it got the red ring of death is because your 360 is standing up. The air cannot circulate properly and the disc is unstable. The reaction with the xbox laying down is more likely to live way longer and letting the air circulate properly.
