I kill em and throw em back when I catch dogfish. One day I caught about 10 of them and killed them all. The rock I was fishing on looked like someone just got murdered there, blood everywhere. They're a junk fish like skates - dead weight to haul up and they go crazy when you get them on the surface. Can't put your hands in their mouth because of the teeth, gotta watch out for the poisonous spines, they steal the bait of game fish driving them away...dogfish suck, period.
