BTW. Congress passed the patriot act by a vote of 357 to 73. And the senate passed it with a vote of 98 to 1. So pretty much everyone voted for it !

@kingofyal1 google "patriot act rushed". the proof is there from world's most popular search engine. results will even bring you mainstream media offerings. Various politicians have stated that it was rushed just as the bailouts; twisted arms with threats of financial meltdown or terrorists.

However I do get what you're saying, and I get it that a lot of politicians are merely just puppets on a string. With all of that in mind I am still confident that Michele Bachmann would do a hell of a lot better running this country than Barack Obama.
