They fought extremely well considering they were delivered in piece-meal and devastated the 9th and 7th (reinforced) battalions of the Peoples Armys 66th Regiment. 79 KIA and 121 WIA, of which almost 40 were combat capable, isn't a massacre especially with the damage inflicted.
