  • His playing is so sensible. These ays, when someone talks to be about music, I think to him and Durutti Column. He's my definition of what music is, and what a musician is, truely.

A viruoso who can translate emotions and feelings into sound, these feelings everyone knows. Real art touches everyone.

  • I'm devastated about Vini's stroke. Hopefully it won't have a significant impact on his music and he'll be able to continue playing.

  • He's just fantastic. What sort of guitar is this, Lacote, Romantic?

  • I would give my right fore-leg to be able to play like this. Genius.

  • FUCK!

  • oh yeah.......fantastic!

  • Best of all time.

  • Have Loved Vini for over 30 years. This is a treasure. Vini, Richard Thompson and John Martyn. All Amazing.

  • Pure genius. Thank you for posting this. It's brilliant.

  • UNDERRATED HONESTLY......

  • i want the audio of this!

  • @MedicineGhosts Copy the URL. Go to zamzar.com. Paste the URL. They'll email you the mp3 (usually very quickly)

  • Vini is literally THE MOST underrated guitarist on the planet. He can play like 500 times better than any of these metal assholes, but nobody ever mentions him in anything dude. I truly think he is a god on the guitar.

  • @SpeshelEdTed

    totally agree, dude

  • @SpeshelEdTed Was gonna comment on this clip myself until I saw you'd said everything I was thinking anyway. Glad it's not just me that thinks these things.

  • I have been listening to this great man's music for 26 years and I never fail to be amazed at his scary ability with a guitar fret.....

  • Vini Reilly the undisputed and unrecognised guitar hero from Factory - anything done by him as Durutti Column is pure genius

  • there's something strangely beautiful about the way he plays.

  • holy shit.

avant garde jazz classical flamenco blues like they are all the same thing!

  • Really an interesting clip on Vini, especially a take on the bluesy guitar, which is not that common in his style. Thanks for the upload! Highly appreciated!

  • Fantastic. My favourite guitarist.
