Can someone post something demo-ing the pure clean tones? Tone open and rolled off? It has obviously great soft distortion and high gain. What about the clean though.
When I started reading Alex' site I thought, "oh great, just what the world needs, another Ed Roman." But after watching some videos of you and others playing his axes I have to say I'm impressed.
@udertyrat Ohhhh, so you're the one that got it. I was hoping it would still be there next time I visited Alex so I could play it. Good choice of Z's. My F1 is tremendous - a great playing and sounding guitar!
@spentonmediocrity Thanks. No, the body is hard maple and mahogany. I think the 'spongy' quality you are referring to is from backing off the tone control on the amp and recording with a large ribbon mic.
