This reminds me of a weeks holiday at Mablethorpe : D My mate and I used to sneak into the disco just to dance to this!!! Those were the days of abandonment and happy times, sunny afternoons and balmy evenings. Great stuff thanks! : )

Trouble @ The disco? Very few times. It must have been different in Britian. We had allot of fun in America. The trouble over here was allot of people didn't like disco. Today our oldies stations play a blend of rock and disco. Yes drugs were there but it depended on the disco you went to. Hard drugs were for junkies. Pot was the #1 drug used way back then. If you were a trouble maker you were not allowed back in. Most places just wanted everyone to have a good time.

i used to live near southend in essex and clubs like TOTS used to sweep up the blood and broken glass on a saturday night. when rave came in people were dropping pills but they were hugging each other, having a great time!

Brilliant memories. Friday night at the youth club in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Can of coke for a shilling and a bag of crisps for tuppence. Home by 10PM, up the next day to go watch the footie. I miss my England !!!!

Dear brhodes. Do you think you ought to lighten up a tad. Truth is, I used to work at the London Hilton in the 80s, which you may know backs on to a lovely area called Shepherds Market. The ladies who worked there used to favour that poodle perm look. Sorry. By the way, the song's rubbish as well!
