Smith family are long gone,Jemmy the father "the Gosling" Smith was knocked downed and killed by a car at the the top of the road in the 1970's. His daughter Colette still lives in Santry nearby. Many years ago I used to ride a messenger bike from Liptons in Artane all the way out to Turnapin Cottages, or was it just called Turnapin Lane then? Yeah and I rode my bike through snow to get to them too. Best wishes and thanks for the memories
