Try not to be too nervous about your colonoscopy. The worst part is the prep, the procedue is easy peasy, you won't feel, or remember, a thing. I am very glad you went to the Dr first thing and didn't ignore the signs, like I did.
Please let me know if you have any specific questions. Also I would like to know how your procedure goes. <3
I am having a colonoscopy on Tuesday, May 3rd. A week ago Friday I noticed blood in my underwear and it wasn't from my period. I went to my primary care doctor and had a rectal exam and a sample on a swab was taken. It came back saying there was blood.
GI doctor is going to be looking for signs of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns Disease. I am very nervous about this appointment.
Hello Karen. I am hoping to volunteer with Camp Oasis if not this year then next. I feel so much better after having surgery there is so much that I want to do. I will be posting more videos very soon. <3
Great job! I hope you can find the UOAA young adults site, it's very helpful, and I hope the surgery went well. I've been through everything you described (same age, sick fora bit longer) and have survived! Also, CCFA CAmp Oasis is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer and grow your Crohn's Community.
