I am a foreign engineer move to USA. When I was working in a crane manufacturing plant, I know that these product can never compete with foreign product. Do you have any idea, how hard people have to work to make money. Making $30.00/hr for putting together some parts. Big boss is making millions for moving their asses. Looks like a ship is sinking. I paid so much taxes and my retirement is on risk now.

UAW is to blame. For years they have tried to convince workers they are worth 10 to 15 dollars more an hour than non-union factory autoworkers.

Outrageous labor costs and pensions have screwed the American auto worker.

Let's see what UAW does for all of the laid off workers. The workers will have to face the grim reality that they are going to have to accept half the hourly wage they are used to receiving.
