@farafeshow 1. The position in office isn't availible. It will only become availible once A). the Jewish people are gather back into ther land. B). There's peace on earth (no more wars) and C) The whole world is worshipping G-d in unison.

In Judaism there is an important concept of distinguish/separate. The Hebrew word is lehavdil להבדיל. To be historically accurate one must distinguish between the historically provable man Yehoshua ben Yoseph and the caricature Je*zeus. It is commendable to encourage Jews to reject Je*zeus but it is disingenuous to equate the Torah observant real man with the caricature. To avoid the issue is avoiding history and that is contemptible and the flock sees the cowardice.

Before I met Jesus, I could care less about God, Judaism, the bible, hebrew etc... Jesus did fix that. He has brought millions maybe billions of people closer to God. If there wasn't the idea of the trinity then yes He would have been drawing people away from God. Yes He has been drawing people away from you exact method of approaching God, but then who says, that "your way was the truth, the way and the life". Even many wise rabis I've met, yet humble, have realized Jesus part for the gentile
the Lord Jesus is of the line of David. which He had to be. and Trace out the lineage, Messiah does demand faith in him as the only way to God the Father. read Isaiah 53.
The miracles that Jesus performed were well known in ancient israel of his day and were/have been totally w/o precedent, regardless of what Talmud says about sorcery in Egypt!
@seekermichael007 Yes they admitted that Jesus did miracles but by witchcraft. The New Testament concurs with rabbinic thought that Pharisees said that it was by Belezubub that Jesus drove out demons. After fighting against messianic thought for 2000 years it would be beyond humbling to ever concede that Jesus was actually the messiah. Yet it is this extreme humility God seeks. God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. Even the catholic churches once in a while is conceding to much.
@seekermichael007 Yeah, miracles were so well known that the earliest NT writer, Paul, never mentioned them! LOL They only show up in the Gsopels written decades later. If Jesus raised the dead don't you think Paul would have mentioned it?
People then had a supernatural view of reality. Disease, famine, mental illness, storms & earthquakes were all of divine or satanic origin, Historian never mention Jesus, they do write about the flood of charlatans and magicians of the day.
My friend, though my "elder brothers" in the faith would like to discount Yeshua for many reasons, as well as twisting the prophechies regarding Moshiach to claim He is unqualified, what do you do with His miracles? I know that those of "the book" the Talmud find it very disconcerting to deal with these. One of the absurd claims is that Yeshua walked on water by writing one of the seventy names of G_d on the soles of His feet! Your Talmud blasphemously claims He learned sorcery in Egypt.
When Jesus walked the earth over 2000 years ago, some people hated him. Those people did not love him because they did not want to accept the truth. For example, he is the one who said to treat others the way you want to be treated, repent of your sins, love your enemies and the truth shall set you free.
These words are very true till this day, yet this world hates and rejects them like they do his name. Jesus is about love but, few truly follow him. Read his words for yourself.
...He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not...
...Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted...
...by his wounds, we are healed.

Jesus is his Greek name, his name in Hebrew was Yeshua. On the cross, they wrote over His head Yeshua HaNetzeret V'mlech HaYeHudim. As you say, Messiah, with your explanation, is not described with all the attributes of Jesus .... however, Jesus has all the attributes you describe of Messiah. Not "opposite," but inclusive.
Saying that Y'shua didn't bring man closer to God is a complete lie. This is a very 1st grade analysis of the Christian doctrin found in the Bible. It truley begs the question to whether or not they have read the New Testament.
@creationcenterTV Obviously not, since many Jews have a wonderful close relationship with God. You don't need anything or anyone to talk to God. Not only that but we naturally know this to be true, but we kid ourselves. When a person gets an ache or pain, and he/she groans, why do we do that? Even if we are alone, who are we crying to? We naturally, maybe subconsciously, know that God is everywhere and can hear us. Our "oy", or "ow", and very often "oh God!" is a prayer
@creationcenterTV-You christians just wanna keep on harassing others that Jesus is the messiah, which he clearly wasn't. There hasn't been peace on earth since he arrived. If you read the entire Hebrew scriptures, you'll see the real mission of what the messiah was suppose to do. Jesus failed to do that, believing he is the messiah is just nauseating.
loool, you can't read logic, cause the identity of the Son of God, the Messiah is in the Book of Revelation 22: "And the Spirit and the Bride saith...", is a long winded way of calling a women wearing a wedding dress a Tomboy with the voice of God, and no male upon Earth can claim that title; so you'ed better find yourself a Tomboy to forgive you for your crimes then, loool!
Jesus full filled more than 300+ prophesies. Jesus revealed how to have a closer relationship with God, by revealing the Holy Spirit, Which was proven by His miracles and the miracles of His disciples, Psalm 72 is a prophesy for The Messiah. Isaiah Chapter 42!!!!!! He will be a light to the Gentiles, and Israel will be Blind And Deaf!!! We pray to God YHWH in THE NAME of Jesus. Read a New Testament, And a Tanakh.
The Jewish Nation is not going to accept Him as messiah yet., they will..but not yet. just relax and pray for the Jewish people and Israel, pray for peace of Jerusalem. The jews might not like some or most christians, but They are still God's people, and they will ALWAYS be Gods apple in the eye.
Is Yeshua the jewish messiah.absolute YES! is it okay if the Jewish nation ignore this fact? NO..BUT, it has to be done, it has to happen, the Jewish Nation must not accept Him as of now...WHY?? BECAUSE GOD said so, Prophecies of the Messiah being fulfilled just as the other prophecies Yeshua fullfilled. As it was foretold in the old testament, His own people would not accept Him. It must be done.
You all think that Yeshua (JESUS) is not the Jewish Messiah? You are dead wrong. Have you ever heard of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri? He confirmed that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah. He said to his disciples that he met the Messiah in a vision a few months before he died, and a year after his passing that note was opened and it revealed the Messiah's name, and that name is Yeshua.

Why would anyone knowledgeable of Hebrew scripture and messianism even wonder if Jesus was the messiah? Why, absent childhood brainwashing, would any honest, critical, thinking person ever believe that the Christian "New Testament" gospels were reliable, literal and unadulterated history of the Jewish life and Roman death of Jesus? Or that the exegesis of Hebrew scriptures by either the evangelists or by Paul was honest or accurate? Or that the Christian "New Testament" was the word of God?
Jesus: Psalm 2: 2 written in: 1037BC - 967 BC - The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. [b] 6 "I have installed my King [c] on Zion, my holy hill." 7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD : He said to me, "You are my Son [d] ; today I have become your Father. 12 KISS THE SON, lest He be angry and you be destroyed in your way, or his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Are you not censoring those who Judge your video, wishing to pick and choose what comments are to be posted? That is what they done to Christ, but it was there own conviction they could not face. The spirit of truth within us, our soul, bares wittiness to the judgements we make; what we do before we make a decision. Gods judgement will be on how we decide and weather we went against the Holy spirit which tells us what is right. It is not about the wrong, but weather we deny what is right.
What say you when the messiah come and you receive him not? What then will they say? Can He not only be your Messiah if ye receive him, is this not True? Wherefore, If we have put to death the one who would and was fixing things, would he still not be the Messiah? How he has not yet received the anointment of Rabbi Priest is the thing ye set your faith in? How is it you would receive another if you have not received Him who God sent? Who shall measure up then, for it is of a Faith you have not.
Jesus was a Jew correct? Why not accept Jesus, not as the messiah, but as one of the most influential Jews of all time. Jesus was not trying to create a new religion. That came later by others. Jesus's teachings of nonviolence and forgiveness are what make him interesting. Could the followers of Jesus just be another branch of Judaism?
Jesus came in and ruined the relationship with God? I would have to respectfully disagree. I would say he strengthened it. To try to evolve the view of a God that hates to one that Loves and forgives, in my opinion, would make me love God more.
The whole world has been deceived by Satan, including most Christians. If you know the Father you know the Son. It is the spirit of God, and the Witnesses of Jesus, the two olive trees, Mathew & John who testify of him, as well, Isiah 53 speaks to all that you need to Know, for the truth is written in your heart, yet you deny it. If you seek the truth will be reveled to you, but, your heart is waxed cold, and you are blind by your iniquity, for you cannot know the Son lest ye know the father.
Theres no checklist for the Messiah. Nothing that says he wil do this this and this, and be this this and this. But, thru careful study you can construct what His ministry was to be. As it has in the Books of Juadaism (talmud, mishna, targum etc) that there would be 2 messiahs, one would suffer(ben yosef) and one would be a conquering king(ben david) Yeshua is both of these as the preist at the right hand of Adonai (psa 110, zech 6)and a king dan 7 & again, zech 6
Has this man ever read the New Testament? Where does he get this whole Yeshua attracted attention to Himself rather than to God?
The Tanakh teaches that the Messiah would be divine! Isaiah 9:6 He is referred to as El Gibbor (mighty God), which is the same name used for YHWH in the VERY nexy chapter (10:21)! About Him uniting Israel, He will do that on His second coming, at His first coming He didnt come to establish His kingdom because Israel wasn't worthy, plus, they rejected Him cont
The Messiah was declared to be cut off and then the destruction would come. The destruction came in 70 a.d., so where is your Messiah, doubting Israel?
Daniel 9:26"Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
Isa. 53: 5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
Why do you think God stopped protecting the Jews in 70 AD when Jerusalem was destroyed? Why would God punish his people if they didn't deserve it? Why didn't God protect His people from Hitler and the holocaust? Seems a bit fishy doesn't it? Maybe the Jews did screw up and God is punishing His people?
I think the final straw will be once the third temple is complete and the sacrifices begin again.
@harryfodder accually Hitler killed alot of people that weren't jewish. So it doesn't have anything to do with god "punishing". Oh, and it may be a punishment for all of the athiests here, or another plan of Satan.
@harryfodder If you were not serious it would be hysterical. Let's see if this makes sense. Jewish prophets predicted a Messiah who would rule Israel in military victory. Not a word about him being supernatural or pre-existing. Jesus was not (as far as I know) a ruler or a military leader but was executed by Romans.
So Jews rejected one of the many men not fulfilling prophecy yet you know better that rabbis how OT prophecies should be interpreted. That makes lots of sense.
@1984vrs he was probably refrence the fact that if you look up "messiah" in hebrew it simply means annoited. so the priests were messiahs, the kings were messiahs, the prophets were messiahs. there is THE messiah, but there isnt only one messiah. as all of the above were annointed.
@peterthesongman "a phrophet like me will the LORD GOD raise up" i feal sorry for u becaues those who follow the LAW of Mosses are bound for death for if u judge u will be judged and "no one loves the LORD not one" "No one seeks GOD not even one"
@dida3111 Where did you meet him - Atlanta or Memphis? I saw on the news he was in Alabama in a mud puddle but later I hear he's in Milwaukee on the side of a refrigerator. He DOES get around!
The messiah or the Anionted one, was to come 183 years or 69 weeks of years(in daniel) from the decree to rebuild the second temple. The religious leaders sholud have been able to do the math.
@Jews4Judaism it only can be jesus, because in the prophety of daniel you can see the exactly time of his dead.if jesus is not the messiah, how the other people can come to God,then God is only for the Jews here,do you really believe that?Rabbi Rashi has interpreted in the Middle Ages, the Isaiah 53; to the people.Previously, the rabbis agreed that it points to the Messiah.
@Jews4Judaism Daniel prophesied to the day, when the messiah would come. God also said that He would come in the 4th kingdom, Babylonian, Mede/persian, Greek and finally the one after that. Just because Jesus came doesn't make christians better than jews. We are all sinners. We all need Gods' forgiveness and as Jesus said salvation is from the Jews. Jews, Christians none get the glory but God. Its' not worth the argument to prove your right when God will show you in the after life the truth.
Rabbi, once in conversation with R. Eli Cohen he made an important statement. He said something to the effect of: A sacrifice must be perfect and without blemish to be acceptable. By the time Jesus was considered to be sacrificed he was beaten and blemished. Therefore he could not be the perfect lamb of g-d as the Christians claim.
I have used this point in conversation with Christians who do not understand why we do not believe that Jesus could be Moshaic.
that is an extremely potent point. I don't think it would make any difference to xtians though. They'd probably just say, "well, if you were trusted to be among the saved you'd understand," or something like that.
@tzedekyahu ,As a Christian I would say that Jesus was perfect in spirit.I would say it does'nt reflect on his nature the fact he was covered in blood and bruises. If you saw someone you love covered in bruises I'm sure you would'nt think any less of them.
One thing I think should be added to your answer is how christians believe messiah is a part of god (Man-god) whereas jews believe he is simply a mortal man.
On the other hand Jews also stress the absolute unity of g-d (the shema) not a tri-part g-d.
One more thing rabbi, it does not matter what the gentiles will say about Israel and judaism but rather what matters is what the children of Jacob will do.
@revahp001 jesus is the messiah but he is not god but a great prophet of god. THE christians distorted jesus real message and the early roman church came out with the false doctrine of the trinity. WHICH jesus never claimed.
I'm really think about being a Jew and I have a qustion I heard in a debate that the Messiah had to come before the second temple fall and that the temple has fallen so Jesus has to be the Messiah are there is not going to be one.
Great answer, Rabbi...however I have to take issue with one point. Jesus was an observant Jew who followed Torah. I don't see evidence of Jesus taking focus off of G_d, rather pointing people to Him. I really appreciate your videos. Honest, straight forward. As a Christian, if I want to understand this man I say I follow, I need to learn from people of his religion and culture. Thanks again for informing me and many others via the internet.

Why don't u think in another possible scenario ... which is :-
1- that Jesus was really the Jewish messiah .
2- that he already invite people 4 deeper relationship with God .
3- And because the messiah decided to stand in between some greedy persons and their interests .
4- those persons decided to corner him , hunt him and kill him ... nice and smooth .
5- after this those persons changed his words to make him look bad after controlling some of his followers .

Nor have knowledge of the Holy One.
Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in His fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and what is His Son’s name,
If you know?

Rabbi, Jesus is the ONLY way that you can have a close relationship with the LORD.
creationcenterTV 1 year ago

ThingsThatVexMe 1 year ago

As it has in the Books of Juadaism (talmud, mishna, targum etc) that there would be 2 messiahs, one would suffer(ben yosef) and one would be a conquering king(ben david) Yeshua is both of these as the preist at the right hand of Adonai (psa 110, zech 6)and a king dan 7 & again, zech 6

as it says at the start of Isaiah 53, and in amny other scriptures such as Psalms 118:22, Isaiah 8:14, Isaiah 28:16, isaiah 53:3, etc.

I think the final straw will be once the third temple is complete and the sacrifices begin again.
harryfodder 2 years ago
@harryfodder
Good point you made there that the Jews seem to miss. Why divine retribution in A.D. 70, WHY?? There had rejected God's Messiah!
PreparetomeetthyGod 2 years ago
@harryfodder accually Hitler killed alot of people that weren't jewish. So it doesn't have anything to do with god "punishing". Oh, and it may be a punishment for all of the athiests here, or another plan of Satan.

Did Job deserve punishment? God does what he does and no one can stop him. It is a terrible thing to be in the hands of God.
CrazyZombieBaby 1 year ago

2 things.
1. Even if the Bible did say that Messiah had to come before 70 ce, where does the Bible say that it would be Jesus?
2. there's no place in the Bible that say the Messiah had to come before 70 ce

The messiah or the Anionted one, was to come 183 years or 69 weeks of years(in daniel) from the decree to rebuild the second temple. The religious leaders sholud have been able to do the math.
christophorM 2 years ago
@Jews4Judaism it only can be jesus, because in the prophety of daniel you can see the exactly time of his dead.if jesus is not the messiah, how the other people can come to God,then God is only for the Jews here,do you really believe that?Rabbi Rashi has interpreted in the Middle Ages, the Isaiah 53; to the people.Previously, the rabbis agreed that it points to the Messiah.
102milo 1 year ago

Toda raba for your videos.
MsLeeba 2 years ago
msleeba,
that is an extremely potent point. I don't think it would make any difference to xtians though. They'd probably just say, "well, if you were trusted to be among the saved you'd understand," or something like that.
tzedekyahu 2 years ago
@tzedekyahu ,As a Christian I would say that Jesus was perfect in spirit.I would say it does'nt reflect on his nature the fact he was covered in blood and bruises. If you saw someone you love covered in bruises I'm sure you would'nt think any less of them.
marlogue53 1 year ago
Jesus wasnt perfect in appearance. He was perfect because of His relationship with God and the life He lived. Look past the flesh.
Surgeitalia1984 2 years ago
Thanks rabbi.
One thing I think should be added to your answer is how christians believe messiah is a part of god (Man-god) whereas jews believe he is simply a mortal man.
On the other hand Jews also stress the absolute unity of g-d (the shema) not a tri-part g-d.
One more thing rabbi, it does not matter what the gentiles will say about Israel and judaism but rather what matters is what the children of Jacob will do.
revahp001 2 years ago 2
