Yes the missing 300th Mudokon is the one at 12:30 it didn't get freed. Someone else has actually mentioned this but it seems to have been completely looked over, and lots of people have complained about only 299 freed. This long play does show all 300 Mudokons so anyone playing along to it likely saved that missed one anyway if they were thinking for themselves.

Bumping this knowledge for Let's Players and the like doing research before playing. Video is perfectly good for a guide.

@Petah989 : There is a difference yes. In Oddysee Abe escapes Rupture Farms and goes to the land of Paramites and Scrabs. Then comes back to destroy the bosses and shut down Rupture Farms. Exoddus continues where Oddysee ended. Abe travels the land to find a cure for a brew poisoning other Mudokons created by SoulStorm Brewery. And yeah, there are 5 games in the Oddworld Saga

@Petah989 : Actually, I made a mistake. Sorry. After Oddysee and Exoddus, the series was cancelled for a few years, until they decided to add a new character. Munch's Oddysee, then in 2005 the last game was released for Xbox, Stranger's Wrath. Because Munch is considered to be the 2nd game in the series, Exoddus is like an added bonus to the first game, Oddysee. But all three are nice to play =P

Allways found it kind of annoying how they added that scene with Abe telling the blind mudoken to follow him and gets him killed. It kind of makes it feel like you never truely saved every single one. Awesome game nonetheless.

Missing Mudokon number 300. For all of you who played it by this longplay and found one Mudokon missing at the end. It's at 0:12:32 , being beaten by the slig. At 0:17:28 Abe walks back to the laughing-gas area. This is where it goes wrong. Because one screen right from this area is the Mudokon from 0:12:32 . But Abe just walks back to the left and forgets about it. Okay, that's all. Mystery solved. Have fun.

Man this game still looks tremendous considering how old it is, realy atmospheric for a side scrolling 2D game. Loved this game but it frustrated me to no end. Maybe i just wasn´t good enough.
