Didn't know there was a rumor back then for Ben doing Green Lantern. The funny thing is that I started watching Farscape having already seen the new trailer with Ryan Reynolds and I remember thinking to myself, "Heh, this guy looks so much like Ryan Reynolds!". I also think they both have a knack for delivering quick one liners :D

@LyraStorm He's nearly 50 now, and he's still as hot as he was in Farscape. I've just watched the vids of the Hub's FS Con 2010 and it's surprising how good looking he is. Really, he would've been fantastic as GL.

It was an argument used by the executives of the Sci Fi channel that Farscape wasn't attracting any women viewers during the cancellation furore. Which plainly is just bollocks.

Everyone bangs on about Battlestar Galactica (which is AWESOME, I agree) but it doesn't hold a candle to the writing of Farscape. Even in the terrible episodes - and there are many - the dialogue, the exposition cleverly disguised as character stuff, is amazing to me. They could show some of the episodes to student writers.
