there actually exsist a toilet cleaning company? and i though my country was lazy. it takes 30 seconds to clean out the toilet.... well i guess i could see if you own a large business with lots of employees or a mexican restaurant
@fattpieceofcrap no there isn't such thing as a toilet cleaning company, it's just the crazy cyclists way of degrading the guy in the van. Initial Hygoform is a company providing dispensers, paper, soap and mats, they do not actually clean the toilets like the ignorant cyclist thinks.

Also the van is required to keep 3 seconds band AND 1.5 meters lateral distance when driving past. He is not allowed to use his vehicle in an abusive or threatening manner. NONE of these road laws were adhered to. So, who is ignorant?

There is a danger in your manuevers. You didn't turn your head to check if there are cars on the lane where you're going to move. Maybe driver wasn't expecting you to move and that's why he'd became so nervous. Yes he said a couple of offencive words but it's understandable.
It is hard to say about distance to roundabout when you've changed lane. I don't do such things usually. Just enter a roundabout and then change lane on it, if I need to skip one o more exitways.

I think at this speed I would have stayed out behind the blue estate car for the whole duration. I try always to stay in primary position if I'm keeping up with the traffic; that way I don't have the problem of moving out into the traffic stream later. Easy to say without being there, though.

Faren ved å bli liggende i sykkelfeltet er om varebilen skal ut i første utkjøring og syklisten blir liggende i blindsone.
Nok en billist som må opplyses. Farlig kjøring av billisten. For alt du vet kunne denne bilen ha ønsket å kjøre ut 1, 2 eller 3 utkjøring. Jeg skulle til å skrive at du ikke bør kjøre forbi så tett på høyre side i rundkjøringa, men alternativet da hadde vært å havne i dødvinkelen hans og du ble muligens most av at han skulle ut på tredje utkjøring (når du skulle ut på den andre).
@Bamananatic Det er helt teoretisk at andre vei ut er "rett fram". Praksis i denne rundkjøringen er at man legger seg inn mot midten når man skal andre vei ut.

If I have a wheel sucker behind me I'll make absolutely sure they know what I'm about to do before changing lanes. Hard to tell how much you looked behind or if you signalled. If you did (I'm assuming you did), he's just a frustrated idiot. If not, you may have put yourself at risk (this is regardless of the technical rights and wrongs of what happened under Norwegian traffic law - if you sense you have an idiot behind you, play it safe!).
@emmkayfive The bike lane ends at the crosswalk before the roundabout, he never really changes lane. Still it is not clear if the car behind was close enough for him to have any reason to yield.
@Danserud1 It's pretty clear by looking how things progress that he failed to give way. I mean, he even writes that there's a "wheelsucker" right behind him.
Now I should stress that I bike a great deal in this city as well, but I have never gotten myself into situations like this simply because I try to be concious about the flow of traffic around me - and adapt accordingly.
