His history was sad. But cats don't brood about the past, and he was happy living with us for five years.

How did you find him? Was he just on the street?

Yes, he was trying to live on the street. We noticed him when he came around to eat old leftover crumbs from our cat's dish. We believe (but can't prove) that he belonged to an elderly lady down the street and that when she got sick and died her husband stopped taking care of the cat. In any case, we know he used to be somebody's pet and that he lost his home. But we gave him a new home and he seemed to appreciate it.

Thats bad abandoning a cat like that.... At least it got itself a new home. It did look like it was a lovable cat.
