  • Roll on 1968 AGAIN

  • One of his Very Very best

  • Have watched this hundreds of times...and it is always wonderful.

  • This cannot be real...it comes from another world...take me to this world...

  • omg fantastic!

  • is it just me or the dude in 00:10 looks abit like george?

  • @smamit2 yuck yuck

  • @smamit2 That's his son, Dhani Harrison.

  • Ah, Happy Birthday George. You are very missed.

  • 61 people need help

  • I was at this concert. Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, London

  • simply beautiful,what a collection of artists

  • Simply stunning! Harrison was underrated as a song writer sometimes....very wrong in my opinion. I suppose L & M were a hard act to follow!

  • fucking love it, so Beautiful !! 2012 everybody is looking into the future, and most people don't look back and forget; or even know what we had !

  • epic concert is epic. enough said

  • This is one of the CLEANIST engineering jobs you will hear, for a live performance!! The Chief

engineer, and his asst's were ON IT. That's alot of people to work with,in a live setting. Remember, they are gettinnNO help from natural acoustics.Of course a little electronics can be used. But it's not in this version. Have a nice day world hippie3375

  • This concert is from other planet. Marvelous!

  • when was the concert?

  • @absiitaylorstuff

    Its on the description, princess.

  • :O

  • Love the intro on this, has anyone heard 'Get you off my mind' by Cas Christensen? Reminds me of them guys.

  • Epic turtleface is epic!

  • Dhani thinks he's the shit with Clapton and Macca... And he is!

  • Dhani totally looks like his father!

  • This song is a joy

  • I've got a rare ... indescribable pleasure ... See and hear this song ...

  • Oh WoWsers!! This is Epic,so beautiful,so profound,it reaches the depth of my heart & rockets me to my own heaven on earth, pure brilliancy! ♥ RIP Sweet George ♥

  • u cant get much better than this, 3 british music legends ringo, paul and clapton! only he can make a guitar make those sounds without any effort at all!!!

  • What is that precious child Dhani doing comending established musicians on their performance? Wonder if his mother is actually Yoko.

  • @ColtraneTaylor fuk you

  • @donkychicag0 NO FUCK YOU, YOU STUPID WHORING SON OF A BITCH PUNK MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!

  • @ColtraneTaylor - honestly? Is that a question more than a statement?? In my eyes, it is a young man thanking his "uncles", for an absolutely BRILLIANT preformance that had everyone on their feet, clapping, honouring the memory of his late father.

Dhani was in no way being disrepectful to the "established musicians" as you may have been suggesting. Was there a "pecking order" here? No! All 100% musicians and equals.

  • That piano player is pretty good. He could easily make in a band full time.......

  • This is a great example of why they call him "Slowhand".

  • With Dhani it becomes transcendant as a part of George is still there.

  • Clapton is just beyond the pale on this.

  • Some 61 people will never understand music.

  • looks like clapton may have jizzed in his pants!

  • awesome!

  • Clapton is god of guitar

  • Comment removed

  • We now know we have 61 dicks watching You Tube

  • This is probably one of my all-star ensembles, Clapton, Lyne, Macca, Ringo on drums. Would have been fab to have been there and must say it shows what a talent George was. Wonderful, cant stop listening and watching, reminds me of many things...

  • how can you dislike this?

  • ALBERT LEE IN BACKGROUND. USED TO PLAY WITH THE LATE GREAT DANNY GATTON

  • Eric's solo gives me chills EVERY time.

  • live to George¡ Clapton is god¡

  • jegoojan

Think you'll find that Clapton wrote this with George Harrison, its not a Beatles track

  • @1961boss It is a Beatles track, from the White album. Harrison wrote it, but he pulled Clapton in on the guitar solos, as he knew Clapton could get the right sound and feel for it, that Harrison admitted he couldn't do himself.

  • 4:35 he looks like Dr. House

  • Seriously why wasn't Bob Dylan there????

  • @formulaforfun4 To add vocals? whyynnn maaiii geetaaaaaah, geeeen-tly weeeeeeeeeeeeps.

    No thanks.

  • 61 unlikes......mah!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dredd72 don't mind them they are stupid!!

  • @maygike ...it's thrue!!!!!!

  • boss

  • What guitar is Clapton using?

  • @superslycooper78 Don't take this to the bank, but I think I read an interview once that said these days Clapton plays Eric Clapton Signature Strats from the Fender Custom Shop. He has a couple that are all different colors like that. Pretty positive it's an Eric Clapton Signature that's repainted.

  • son of George is piaying guitar with them...... amazing

yes,my guitar gently weeps to love them all

  • Well said...

  • i cried. this concert is just.... touching

  • It is certainly that and more and yes I had tears watching this video. Such a long time ago it was...

  • This video has so much "win" attached to it... and it started with a Chuck Norris commercial. XD

A fitting tribute to George Harrison!

  • What Clapton does here is just skull-fuckingly magisterial. Incredible performance.

  • dhani is a spitting image of his dad. sweet jesus.

  • George's son looks very much like his dad :)

  • @RockNRollFellow you're right

  • Eric can still do it when he is in the mood

  • Paul said after this that "Olivia said that with Dhani up on stage it was like george stayed young and we all got old"

  • @NAFIANNA10 check out the scene where the kid essentially leaves the stage and clapton collers him... f you kid, play

  • Dani Harrison?

  • @TheLarryDan

    I have this DVD too. 60回くらい見ました 笑

  • Stunning. What are there, like eight guitars, three drum sets, 4 or five other random percussion instruments. Eight vocalists. It's like a rock symphony. Gorgeous.

  • @TheUkester69 it was Georgeous..... ;)

  • @TheUkester69 and dont forget Mr McCartney on the piano! lol

  • @TheUkester69 Georgeous.

  • very good. . . Muisca played that well. . . great to hear!

  • Perfect!!

  • George Harrison itself was there :)

  • @Damboku97 It was his son, george died a year before this

  • @Damboku97 No, George died a year before, and that`s the reason they made that tribute concert.

  • Wonderful!

  • Only Ringo is that shit, he needs backin Drumers!

  • R.I.P George <3

  • Clapton played on the original Beatles studio version of this song. This live version just has that authentic feel about it. Utterly magnificent in every way.

  • @james64ok I know, Clapton is a fucking god, I saw him live a few years back and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

  • Only Clapton can make a guitar weep like that!

  • Has nothing to do with Prince not playing... The Piano is actually better on this version. And the lead singer doesn't drag the song.

  • Has nothing to do with Prince not playing... The Piano is actually better on this version.

  • SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE PRINCE VERSION!!!!MCCARTNEY,HARRISON, AND STARR....

  • Y_¯Ʌ¯_Y I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!

  • Who is the young guy, who looks like George?

  • @mukaehitomi He Is Dhani Harrison, His Son

  • @mukaehitomi is dhani harrison his son

  • R.I.P George Harrison - Beatles Forever!!!!

  • これ以上いいコンサートはない。

  • this is my song!!

  • Love it

    Nuff Said!!!

  • Great music + great play = Perfect!!

  • Fully agree with Paul when he said (talking about Dani Harrison) ''seems everyone got older except George!'' LOL! Dani looks so much alike his father! Great music!!!

  • I can cry with this solo...

  • my sweet george ,you were amazin ,r.i.p

  • This song is so fuckin good , i can hear it a 100 times a day

  • I love how Jeff Lynne watches Clapton all through this, reverence for their friend George and for Eric really expressing it

  • CLAPTON IS GOD

  • @pionerosrnr God wrote The song

  • @pionerosrnr oh comon i know he's good but hes no eric clampton

  • @pionerosrnr Clapton ain't God, he's pretty good though. The God is the Beatles, as in George, John, Paul and Ringo for MAKING this song!

  • prince rocked it and then made everyone pancakes

  • sooo fkin cool!!

  • Milo Kunis on the Percussion, the small guy behind Ray Cooper!!!!! Awesome shit here people!!!! you could learn something bout REAL music!!!!!!

  • @domanski1000 Just curious as to how you know who the musician on percussion is next to Ray Cooper, ie do you have any links pertaining to this musician?

  • @mtzlplex just been watching these guys in concert for 43 years.....but yeah he has done alot of work with George Harrison....Eric Clapton....Harry Niilson....John Lennon.....David Sanborn.....and Bob Dylan!!! you can find him on alot of other videos with these people above

  • @domanski1000 Just curious, you would think that a percussionist that had played with that many famous musicians over that many years would at least produce a google hit, which the name Milo Kunis does not. Also, that name is not found anywhere in the Concert for George Production Credits, which lists the musicians involved. Oh, one more thing, how in the world could you have been "watching these guys in concert for 43 years, and have a YouTube profile that states you are 26 years old.

  • @mtzlplex this is my sons account i just watch youtube on his computer, well thats his name.....watch the 24 nights concerts with eric clapton u will see him! and the credits on the DVD for it

  • @domanski1000 What instrument is Milo Kunis playing on the 24 Nights Concert DVD?

  • @mtzlplex he plays tambourine, flute during bell bottom blues, and with buddy guy u can see him

  • @domanski1000 Real funny, he`s playing the tambourine and flute at the same time on Bell Bottom Blues, ha., good one, (doing a little trolling are we). I just got out the dvd, watched it, no mention anywhere on the dvd, or in the dvd literature of a Milo Kunis. Tambourine on Bell Bottom Blues is by Ray Cooper. Oh, and you never had me from day one, I just wanted to see how far you would take it (poor attempt), and I got a laugh out of it.

  • Beautiful tribute for a beautiful man.......

  • Excelent concert.Mr Clapton was magnific on the guitar.

    RIP Grorge.

  • Whoever said too many musicians, it isn't about the number or the sound. This was to pay homage to a man they all loved. Never too many to pay respects.

  • There is another video at : youtube.com/watch?v=ifp_SVrlurY&NR=1 with another set of musicians. Wasn't it sung on the same occasion?

  • How COOL it musta been for that kid to grow up with all of those guys his FAMILY!!!!

  • This is it. The world's best guitarist, pianist, and drummer, all singing the song of one the world's best lyricists.

  • My god Georges son is the spitting image of him!

  • ..wow..just like the original, except we can see clapton into his guitar, gently weeping..amazing those guys weren't just crying the blues..how else is on the keyboard?

  • @Dora31 Billy Preston

  • i feel like i can hear the memories and sadness in claptons voice

  • @ThisCharmingBhoy Hence the other drummers. Sure they let him play with a drum kit and make him feel like part of the band, but it's the other drummers (why so many i have no idea) that we are hearing.

  • No one comes close to Paul McCartney if we look at the ability to give awesome Backing Vocals.....

  • clapton is playing on the original, imho he is run through lesslie box to sound less trademark bluessy.

  • @thefarmersson1

I agree with you dude. George ask Eric to play guitar especially the lead part.

  • @M1keA1 DAMN !!!!! Are you aware of what you've just said ? ( Sorry for my english, I'm french :)

  • Many forget that Eric Clapton originally played the guitar in the original recording of this song. George asked him and he finally gave in.

  • Eargasm

  • This year

    The anniversary of 10's death

Now , still I miss you

  • Who is the guitarist in the hat on the right at 0:54

  • @Hockeytown0001 Are you asking about Jeff Lyne from ELO?

  • This is Eric Clapton,não é por menos que chamam ele de SlowHands

  • God,his hands are pure magic...

  • i couldnt imagine how good dhani harrison felt playing his father's music w/ paul, ringo and clapton. rip george harrison!!

  • 5:15 that part moves me the most

  • Beatles forever!!!

  • Bow down and humble yourself before the greatest collection of musical talent this world will ever see, it will not be repeated and I count myself lucky to have been around to enjoy it. xx

  • By far the best audio but some of the stupidest comment I've seen on youtube.. Don't you feel fortunate to see the best playing in hounour of their friend who, IMHO was one of the best songwriters of all time. Yes, that was Dhani. Heartbreaking for him and his fans. George was equal with Lennon-McCartney as the most influential composers of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • @MJp0wn George's son..

  • @MJp0wn That guy is a Welshman called Andy Fairweather Low

  • Dhani is just like george

  • @MJp0wn , he looks like Dhani, George son

  • the gods are playing

  • Guitar Solo like a orgasm woman :D I like it !

  • PRECIOSA Y ME ENCANTAN TODOS LOS MUSICOS DE ALLI ESTOY EMOCIONADA CADA VEZ KE VEO ESTE CONCIERTO FOR GEORGE

  • Eric played the original song in "The Beatles" White Album...

  • The greatest

  • What a guitar solo! Clapton is the man.

  • I never thought I would say this, but Prince kicked Claptons ass soloing over this music.

Some might say it was acttually Jimmy H. disguised as Prince. Could it be?

  • @mauricio0guaruja

    >Some might say it was acttually Jimmy H. disguised as Prince. Could it be?

    No, probably not

  • @mauricio0guaruja Clapton kept to the mood of his original score on Beatles White Album but added a little more feeling. Prince tried to go his own route which was ok but it was more showmanship rather than actual great playing...
