  • Nice and healthy recipe! This would be nice in a large glass bowl (trifle bowl) and layering each ingredient. It would be a nice presentation for a party.

  • I think it's super important to remind viewers that the darker the lettuce leaves, the more vitamins and minerals. I'm going to make this with a spring mix :)

  • I just had this for lunch and it was SO GOOD! I only used baby spinach, black beans, corn(i cut off the cob), cheese, grilled onions and with salsa and ranch as the dressing!

  • Cool, thanks Sarah. Maybe sharing some of his vegetarian tips could be a possible future video :) I usually substitute lentils or soy or even eggs (I'm not vegan) for chicken or any meat, but hearing what Stephen has to say would be great!

  • So you're using bagged lettuce, canned corn, canned beans, onions, salsa, avocado, cheese, "light ranch"... Great, so now you're soaring through the rough in sodium and food with almost no nutrients because they're not organic. Not to mention that the "light ranch" probably has MSG as well as other neurotoxins. Sorry to say but you have NO CLUE about proper nutrition - stick to your workout videos.

  • rinsing the black beans reduces sodium. Organic corn and black beans are about .20 cents more than regular, if I said to buy them people would tell me they don't have the money. There is at least 8 g of protein, 8 g of fiber with just the lettuce, corn and black beans. The avocado adds some heart healthy omega-3's, the tomato has lycopene and other B vitamins. Thanks for commenting on our video but do some research before making negative claims. thanks!

  • The "nutritional" information you're gathering is VERY outdated. Food that is not organic now has much less nutritional value than they did just 50 years ago and as time goes this proves to be more true. If people can not afford organic foods, they have alternatives, but don't make the video backwards - that is, offering unhealthy and unnutrional foods first. You forgot to mention your MSG filled dressing. That salsa I also suspect has "hydrogenated oils" in it and other neurotoxins.Unsubscribed

  • Sarah is simply giving an alternative to people who take unhealthy lunches to work, or who eat a fast-food lunch. Clearly, a meal that is less than 300 calories is a better alternative. I'm sure that many people who'll try this recipe aren't even aware of MSG and things like that in other products they have, so this would be a better option anyway. While I do agree that organic is good (depending where it's grown), I think you're over-reacting! Sarah, I'll definitely try it - with soy "chicken"!

  • That is the problem, people are misinformed, and through this video people actually THINK what they're eating is "healthy" when it is clearly not. I have pointed out in this meal the neurotoxins, which include MSG, as well as the high sodium level. I could even go into the unhealthy benefits of "soy" chicken and the processing they use to make soy - which also includes a variety of neurotoxins. And while this meal is lower in calories, most of them are still EMPTY calories. Research it yourself.

  • There's also no over-reaction on this side of the monitor. I'm simply informing people about PROPER and TRUTHFUL nutrition. Don't you think it's odd someone sponsored by a pharmaceutical company is giving advice on nutrition? I understand most people would rather just give a "thumbs down" to my comments than reading through and realizing the truth. But do know that I am saying is 100% accurate and I have research to prove it. Please be open minded and not so closed in your own capsule.

  • mLOProductions is 100% right about the production of Soy and how it's pretty much doing more damage than good. Believe me I use to eat soy my self until I did my own research. But Sarah's videos have been very crappy lately so does it surprise anyone that she didn't do her proper research for this one.

    If your lifestyle is similar to how much you know you probably eat very well. However, you have to understand that some people have NO clue what you are talking about(not me). The average person is going from a bag of chips and a wonderbread sandwich to this.

    THAT is an improvement. THAT is good.

    If you know a lot, perhaps you should seek info else where.

    From Sarah's perspective she is giving easy recipes that is a definite step up from a normal person's eating habits.

    I understand what you are saying too. There are better options out there and I agree with most of your points. However, nutrition and eating habits is a spectrum. Even you don't eat "perfectly", I guarantee it. I eat at restaurants, drink sometimes, etc. But I also eat a lot of healthy stuff too. Do what you can and don't worry.

  • Yes, I understand that for a wide audience of people this is a huge step-up. What I was attempting to point out, that was somehow lost in this long conversation, was "lead by example." Obviously, not everyone is able to afford organic food, however, ANY canned food is lacking and extreme amount of minerals and vitamins than just the lose vegetables that are found within the same supermarket. If one is trying to promote good health, proper food should be used THEN people can use their own subs.

  • sounds delicious! Try grilling the onion and peppers if you have a grill available! I love to do that in the summer!
