  • name of the drummer? He's a badass!

  • Dear Andy, please call Steve Morse for a double bill tour. Cheers, from Scandinavia.

  • With his touch, technique and harmonic talent Andy can be perfect playing 1000 notes for minute or only one note. The most complete rock guitarist of world.

  • Wow andy on a tele, sweet! didn't even find it weird at first, it looked so right!

  • Minchia che pezzo!!!

  • Andy and band killin; it!!!!

  • este violero se toca la vida!!

  • Gli autori dei "19 non mi piace" che si andassero a sparare, grande Timmons sei un Dio!!

  • i like Andy's music.

well, i actually love his music.

  • The telly is so made for this.

  • im gonna go practice....

  • Bon ben je vais me rebosser l'aller retour moi.......

  • anybody knows what kind of pickups he's using on this vid?

  • cpu master...listen to the solo in the prayer the answer and then say his playing is emotionally shallow! Andy's playing evokes the most emotion of any other guitarist with that level of talent thats why he's so amazing and awesome to listen to..so i couldnt disagree more!!

  • Come on grahamtripwire, you were too flaming, and rightly so, even if requested that you not do so. :)

  • It's kind of ridiculous how good this is.

  • @Oliverwarren...Not " Flaming" you , but that was a truly emotionally shallow comment , obviously based on one song..Check out Gone..Electric Gypsy..Falling Down...THEN see if you have the same opinion of his emotion..Peace~

  • IS ANYONE WATCHING THIS COMING FROM F7U12? lol

  • @alcordoz Is that the place that gives viruses? I heard it sucks.

  • @BruckThatsMe Obvious Troll is obvious

  • @alcordoz awkward...no, i searched for it

  • My favorite. He took the time to pose for ppics with my son and his band a GC..Talked to us for about 15 minutes..Great guy. No wonder he is my favorite

  • Wow Andy made that Tele sweat bullets, who says that country can't rock out?

  • holy fuck this guy is good

  • yeee haaa:)im getting a beer....cheer´s

  • Easy way to get lots of thumbs ups: Trash anyone who dislikes what you like

  • THUMBS UP FOR ANDY TIMMONS OH W8 AND SATCH !!

  • mantaaaaapppp..country abiiiiisss!!!!

  • It somewhat resembles a bit of Zakk Wylde's 'Farm Fiddlin' but this is much cleaner playing.

  • DAMN IT killer licks and hes doin it all on a clean tone, which is even harder to achive without mistakes, awesome..

  • hoooooooooooolly shit

  • God, the guitar isn't dead, destroyed by repetitive shedders playing the same things over and over and over... Andy Timmons is here to compose some creative music for us!

  • The bass in this song is BEAST! And even without the bass solo.

  • holy freaking crap.

    my mind was just blown.

  • 5 people hit the ditch too hard......

  • I first heard of Andy when he was in Danger Danger around 1990. Even in the context of a cheesy pop-metal band he was still insanely good. This song sounds like a guitar laughing out loud, if such a thing were possible. Just amazing...

  • This guy should always plays with a TELE !!!

  • so gay

  • incredible;amazing!!!

  • The four individuals that dislike this are simply responding out their insane jealousy!

  • Un Freaking Believable!I think God won't mind if i say God Damn on this one ;)

  • Four people have their own opinions and we should respect that and not retaliate just because they don't like something.

  • 4 ppl are retarded!

this is... I can't find the words to describe how awesome this is...OMG

  • Respect... and admiration

  • :O i never thought that i was going to see this song live... no comments..

  • His tone remains and his touch is flawless at high speed Wow he can play anything well that Tele sounds hot

  • Did he just flip the bassist off? Haha, probably not, but thats how it looks 1:28

  • Reminds me of the great Steve Morse

  • @dirdydraws Reminds me "the bash" by Steve Morse's band Dixie Dregs !!! Andy Timmons and Steve Morse are two giants of the guitar !!

  • 1:36 - 1:40 best lick ever!

  • 1:10 ...

    bass player is teh awesome

  • one of the best guitar player in the world

  • 4 are frustrated for being not able to play that

  • Andy TimmonsがTelecasterを弾いている画像を初めて見ました。サスガです!何を弾いてもカッコいい人ですね!

  • 2.20 the face of the drumer! jajaja

  • @ezequieljoa 1.25 look at the drummer face lol

  • Awesome way to totally destroy a Tele.

  • I've always told my self I don't like country but now I'm just confused... I like...country? O.o

  • Timmons is ...wow! I don't really dig the chicken pickin' thing when that is all a player does. But, man, to break the tension of a set to throw that in? Timmons is awesome, man...I would like to hear the song leading into it. I will go see him somewhere, someday. Does anyone know if he plays B'ham, Bama much?

  • haha that is awesome!

  • Actually, while he is an amazing technician... what I do love most about Andy is his sound. It is very versatile but still very unique. I really like the sounds of guys like Satch, Vai et al, but I'm more and more digging into being a little bit more free in style and sound, like Andy, Guthrie Govan or Bumblefoot. (okay, I play like shit compared to those guys, but hey, always get inspired by the best :D)

  • I just love andy timmons

my second favorite guitarist,..,, just after joe satriani ;-)

  • this is some serious stuff o.O

    he's a great guitar player.

    thank for the upload man!

  • O melhor guitarrista do mundo, demais!Toca muito qualquer vertente do rock, country, blues!

  • Chicken pickin' from Hell!!!

    Love it...

  • @Ironhandjohn There's no a single chicken pickin' lick in the entire song...

  • Awesome!!

  • This made my day :)

  • Damn, Andy and the band are humble...all three made accounts so they could dislike this!

  • @pieman419 ha! one of the best remarks I seen on the Tube bro!

  • @pieman419 band must've grown by 16 since then... 'dislikers' just disliking stuff that's good for the sake of disliking...

  • This Whole Band Is Stellar and Among The Elite Musicians In The Country !!

And Great Personable Guys To Boot !

  • where is this at? what venue, it looks familiar...

  • I don't believe in God, but Andy is not human. His Revelation DVD is truly great and inspiring, almost on the verge to divinity.

  • @Guitaristo I agree...He's about the closest thing to a god in my life.

  • This song ROCKS! C'mon guys, now be true: Won't this song be awesome in a "Sonic: Yhe Hedgehog" game? haha. It surely fits well.

  • wow..i want playin' like that

  • Every song sounds similar live and as on Resolution album... Thats funkin awesome, he is great. Just trio and harmony tied with shred.

  • I love how @ 2:16 everyone is standing there completely still like "WHAT. THE. CRAP."

  • Theres fucking no one like andy, andy does it all man! everything!

he is the one.... he is the chosen one! I envy the fuckers who've had the chance to play with him... I would suck balls for a chance like that!

  • This guy, along with guys like Steve Morse and Guthrie Govan, is a master of all electric guitar styles.

  • imagine andy and greg koch dueling it out. Greg is the master of the jazz country thing

  • I've seen both play live. As a pure chicken picker, Brad Paisley is the man and doesn't get near the respect he deserves.

This song isn't really Andy's genre of music, yet he can just do it really well because he's just phenomenal. I've never seen someone play with such emotion and feeling. Reminds me of recordings I've seen of SRV. You really have to witness Andy live to fully appreciate.

There's no need to compare Paisley and Timmons. Both rock. Love them both.

  • I wanted to say "Brad Paisley on steroids!" but I think Brad actually might be able to keep up.

Either way, awesome song. This just shows how much fun it can be to infuse certain styles with other styles. Jazz/rock jazz/blues country/shred etc.

  • Why are there comparisons of Timmons and Paisley? Timmons is in a whole nother level of skill, but Paisley is by no means trash

  • What an amazing tone and playing !

  • Andy!!!! fckn insane!!

  • Andy is amazing. This is a way cool tune, difficult to play and aptly named. Way to swing it, boys!

  • How the hell do they pull this off

There's a good mix of styles in this song

    Fucking awesome

  • wow!!!!

  • Is Brad Paisley taking notes? He should be... a LOT of catching up for him to do haha

  • ummm... no. Brad will smoke him alive!

As much as I like this, and I really do, it's not particularly musical. A rehash of some bluegrass riffage mixed up with typical jazz rock fusion wankkage. Some tasteless scales and general hysterics... which is awesome but not as intelligent as Mr.Paisely

    of course YMMV :)

  • @ZepIV I am by no means a Brad Paisley fan boy but check out his mostly instrumental album Play: The Guitar Album and you will realize he is literally one of the best country players around today

  • that what i call, a full complete artist,, rock, fusion, jazz,,country,,whatever you put on him shoulders,,he f'?¡%$ blows away...yeeeeaaaaah

  • For serious...Andy should take Brad to school. Haha

  • holy hell, eat your heart out Brad Paisley

  • i think greg koch did the thumb down :)

  • For the 2 people who gave this video a thumbs down, I should personally come hunt you down and rip your balls off and shove them down your fucking throat. How can anyone not like this? Seriously. Andy is fucking amazing!! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE WITH ME...

  • @CPUMaster500 Looks like you got three more on your list. *Thumbs it up.* :3 Shit's crazy on RockBand.

  • @CPUMaster500 you can't ask for thumbs up

  • @CPUMaster500 His guitar playing skill is immense. Doesn't make it nice music to listen to though. Completely emotionally shallow to me (entirely subjective though so don't flame me ...)

  • @0liverwarren i agree but somehow i don't think he was trying to bring anyone to tears with this tune lol

  • A.T. is the role model for a musician; humble, soulful and inspiring

  • @MaurofdVzla Well said!

  • Who's the bassist? And for that matter, who's the drummer?

  • If u like this ,check out danny gatton (video with the towl and beer)

    and roy buchanan.

  • he owns that tele!!!

    pure talent!!!

  • great player, a lot of Steve Morse in this one - really cool

  • This is beyond comprehension. How can someone get that good on guitar?! lol

  • ungh!

  • excuse me while i go clean the shit outta my drawrs

  • he is very verstile

  • WOW great!

  • SRV would be proud.

  • This is the kind of song where I really would like to play any of the parts, they all look so fun.

  • he sold his soul at the crossroads....one dark cloudy night.

  • Andy the king!

    So pure tele sound

  • i love song.

and i love that there are alot of people who love this song who would never be caught dead listen to some of brad paisleys instrumental songs lol.

    god i love this guy

  • Is this a new song by andy? it doesn't seem to be tabbed yet :(

  • Nope. This was the hidden track on Resolution.

  • Andy is amazing. Boy do I wish Jason Becker could still play. He was amazing too. Check out VoVa666 here on you tube. He is from Russia, but the guy can really play. Did a great cover of Govan's Waves too.

  • Comment removed

  • totally crazy stuff~ how can a human play like this ?~~ very good

  • CHECK~~~~> Chet Atkins ...:-D

  • fuck me dead

  • killer performance by all THREE musicians...bass tone/fills and drums are great too...

for all the rock shredders out there...this stuff is harder to authentically pull off than you might think!

give it a try...it's a completely different set of hand muscles and motor skills than alt/sweep picking to keep that constant string of notes going AND swinging.

Brent Garsed does some AMAZING non-country pick/fingers hybrid picking that's really cool too...check him out.

  • @buddaman1971 "Brett Garsed" and also he DID, he doesn't do that stuff anymore.

This is probably one of the few shred DVDs I have that I will never watch again. Thought it was bland. Ear X-tacy was the highpoint of Andy Timmons for me, without another guitar backing or at least an accomplished syntheziser the licks kinda run into one another and most of his improvisation just boils down to a bland mixture of otherwise fine phrases.

  • )cont) If you watch him playing "Jungle Eyes"(not his composition) on the Ibanez vid you'll see a different Andy, an awesome Andy.

  • @makotoyoshikuni who says he's not awesome now

  • @buddaman1971 brett

  • there is just so many great talents out there. Andy is great! Dont forget to take a look at Guthrie Govan, Richie Kotzen.

  • Zappa recruited a young Vai to do Jazz from Hell...

  • I think he's one of the all round guitar player..

he can do country, blues, and rock.. in a great proportion.. (dunno if he can pull out some jazz tunes too??)

dunno also if people like steve, joe, paul,or even john petrucci can do stuff like he does???

correct me if I'm wrong.. :)

  • yeah on his that was then this is now album theres a live version of him playing Donna Lee. Its cool you should check it out. Andy Timmons FTW!!!

  • He can do jazz. And Satriani can but i don't think Vai can

  • @koshiaru no

you don't know what vai can do..you see only the surface..but he is a genius,he can use the guitar better than the tongue..

  • I don't think vai can chicken pick country style though.Have you seen him do it?

  • Sorry, i wasn't really clear with that. What i meant was Vai has an incredible talent, and im sure if he put his mind to it, he could do this kind of thing.

  • @koshiaru you really think that pro guitarist show all their licks to the audience?

vai has his style, and he use the tecniques related to it..but is obvious that a monster like him can use every tecnique..he plays from decades..if he has nothing to say with the chicken pick he doesn't use it

  • No , I know they all hold back to their own signature , but what I meant is I don't think vai would ever want to play country , so I don't think he would have practiced country a lot. he may be able to do it , but he probably will never give any evidence that he can.

  • First, you're right, Andy is God. Also, Steve and Joe can play anything, they just don't normally choose to do this kind of song.

  • @bebaslepas

i think paul gilbert could play anything

  • Holy CRAP this is fast! Awesome stuff. Andy rules.

  • Country Shred!!!

  • this is a funny song

  • Comment removed

  • im not saying i am any better, i am saying it is tasteless. check out some brent mason and compare the levels of taste and skill. see who comes out on top.

  • Comment removed

  • have you ever seen cry for you? theres some taste and skill.

  • i pesonally think this a great example of fusion of styles. I think he pulls off the country licks while adding some jazzy stuff, some bluesy bits, and even some good ole 80's shred particles

  • @tremalow and classical bits here and there too.

  • you are one of the most tasteless attempts of someone.

  • it makes sense to me and that's all that matters.

  • He wants to be contracting to the fender terribly.

  • i really like to watch andy with a tele... damm it this is good!!!!

  • Andy is simply stunning on the guitar!.....Rolling Stone magazine,it is time to take note of this player!!!

  • andy timmons is a goddamn machine. nobody's perfect, he is -.-

  • telecaster is perfect for that country sound

  • Haha never heard this one before. It's fkn incredible!

  • I really like the good taste of Andy when he uses sweep pickin arpegios between a country song!!

  • I loved the bassists breakdown part

  • that's crazy!!!!!! great timmons

  • The solo break at 1:26 is pretty jazzy

  • Sooo Fast man scary!!

  • That was funny and amazing. :D

  • Wow......he's taking country licks to the next step...putting arpeggios...open strings....its the closest thing you can get to fusion...but still keeping the country feel in context....but dang, he's fingers are fast....i could barely reach the normal tempo for the song...haha...
