I have always considered myself one of the lucky people. I could roll around in poison ivy and nothing would happen…UNTIL THIS WEEK!!!! I now have blisters on my arms. They itch and burn. At first I didn't consider that it might be the dreaded ivy then I researched online and found out there was ivy growing up 4 trees in my yard. I thought it was Virginia Creeper…NOT!!! Yah learn something new every day.

If you get a rash don't waste your time on home remedies head to the Dr ASAP for prednisone. Tried the home remedies it got worse and then I got it in my eyes. Prednisone works.

An extra thing you can do is tuck in your shirt and tuck in your leg sleeves into your socks to fully cover the skin. If you're wearing gloves, tuck your sleeves in those as well.
