did you side-chain the kick or is that the videocamera's mic compressing like that?

@limeyamos It was recorded as a stereo track directly into Ableton. No effects or compression were used. Thanks for checking out the video!

@ttaralli it really sounds like the kick has side chained compression on it, that "pumping" effect where everything else gets quieter momentarily when the kick comes in. do you think that's youtube's compession causing that?

@limeyamos it does kinda do the effect within the machine from my experience. it's not an adjustable asset really. .. . .there is a compressor you can turn up on the master out as well. i haven't stumble across any parameters for it other than it's dial. just to be clear, i have found no side chain feature on the machine. this machine is a good one! - and promises incremental updates too.
