  • wtf is digital hardcore? some new genre 13 year olds made?

  • @MrOctoKing Search wikipedia for digital hardcore it's a movement almost 20 years old now

  • 240p..

    ..we meet again.

  • 22 people are afraid of rabbits~

  • Can't believe people of my genration aren't aware of this band. LONG LIVE DIGITAL HARDCORE!

  • @unknown9069 Now Dubstep Is going mainstream WHAT THE FUCK !

  • @eyetalllies EXACTLY! Some is good, However this whole movement is inspirational and amazing. >_>

  • Wish could i could still go around taggin' my city...

  • I fail to see the importance of which genre this is.

  • Dat 240p!

  • Who cares what genre it is, it's awesome.

  • This is electronic punk/indie rock, not digital hardcore.

  • Anarcho punk?

I think I want to hit you in the face hey :o)

  • I just noticed the The Shizit album cover there! at 0:26

  • Someone told me this had something to do with metal... wow were they wrong.

  • Digital Hardcore... is a reference to Atari Teenage Riot, EC8OR, Shizuo stuff like that. Poorly recorded punk guitar and gabber beats. Nothing to do with Metal really. That's everyones lesson for today.

  • Industrial?, this is, DIGITAL HARDCORE! *kicks off ledge*

  • Super nice song !!! I wake up with it

  • I seriously just today learned that Rabbit Junk is essentially a one-man band, along with Sum Grrl. Damn, that just makes me respect them -er, well, him- even more.

  • Seriously lol. Look at the conversation about genres in these comments. I'm not even trying to be like, "omg shut up who cares what genre it is", I just think it's ridiculous because you guys are completely missing the point of even naming genres in the first place.

  • Holy fuck this is amazing

  • Here's the deal guys. These guys are Digital Hardcore. 100% The reason why it is so hard for most people to define a genre for this group is because modern day digital hardcore sound varies a lot from band to band. If you compare them to ATR it doesn't make sense, but if you compare them to a group like Left Spine Down it starts to make sense. Having said that I think Rabbit Junk is WAYY ahead of their time. I think they're going to kickstart a new wave of Digital Hardcore.

  • the coolest rabbit ever!!

  • i dont hear industrial in there...

  • @sirmarvinmartian69 its described as digital hardcore- so more of a branch off the hardcore scene related to metal

  • @seeriktus Uh no... digital hardcore is related to the hardcore techno scene, not the 'hardcore' metal scene...

  • @tenno777

I'd say it's related to the metal part.

because the electronic sound in this music sounds industrial to me.

    not anything like hardcore techno.

  • @seeriktus Actually it's closer related to anarcho punk, adding hardcore techno elements, then later on industrial elements began to take hold.

  • sounds like The Prodigy, except not so dance and more towards rock... plus vocals are better than Prodigy's MCs ...

  • wow this was a surprise - thx a bunch, im getting their records.... + the shizits! Awesome shit

  • I heard this song way back a couple years ago.. proud rabbit junkie ever since.

  • The clip needs to be more dynamic, but the music... Oh, the music.

  • This is beauteefool...

  • loved this song the first time, the first seconds I heard it ^_^

  • i met the guitarest in person!

  • Im so tired of people labeling everything emo. Not everyband is emo, screamo, etc. THIS IS NOT EMO! Its digital hardcore.

  • @MrDonnie245

    they introduced hardclash ( ;

  • @hansheerlich and im glad they did :)

  • really great tune... but really cheesy chorus. sorry guys!

  • was this on a movie?? nd i luv this!

  • awesome :D

  • This is about as industrial as Trent Reznor. Just putting a dist on the voice and drums DOES NOT MAKE IT FUCKING INDUSTRIAL! God... *SIGH*

  • @azynkron What....Trent is Industrial...I mean...NIN is what made Industrial popular. Although i agree, this is NOT Industrial its Digital Hardcore.

  • fucking awesome!!!

  • fucking awesome!!!!

  • Look up Industrial dude. And remember to multiply it by 10000

  • this song is awesome!!!

    so....

what genre do i have to search for to find more like this?

  • coooollll song !!!!

  • FHY DID YOU REMOVE "FUCKIN SATAN"?

  • I agree with DuKENZiREX 100 %

  • Awesome music! fucking great!

  • 'Epic

  • mi carica troppo sta canzone !

  • this song really grew on me

  • great video rabbit junk is one of the best active industrial bands i've ever seen. they are surely one of the best.....

  • They're not Industrial, Industrial is bands like Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, and SPK.

  • Comment removed

  • @DuKENZiREX

I guess guys like T-pain and Dr.Dre are industrial to since they use similar equipment. Thanks, i did not know that.

  • Comment removed

  • INSTRUMENTS ARE NOT MADE FOR ANY KIND OF MUSIC. music is made for a certian kind of instrument. dumbass. and 99.9% of studio produced tracks use the same equipment, regardless of the equipment.

  • Comment removed

  • @ElectronicRUFF Taylor swift uses a guitar, but that doesn't mean that she is in the same genre as black metal.

  • @ElectronicRUFF The singing style is completely different.

  • @DuKENZiREX The equipment a band uses does NOT prove anything about the style of music they are. The Beatles could have made death metal with the instruments they had at their disposal.

  • Comment removed

  • certian genres of music use certian instruments or sounds. take for example, the Westcast Whistle, a sound prominently found in late 90s HIp hop. You can MAKE this sound with pretty much any synthesizer that has 2 or more Osscillators. so its not about which instruments theyre using (especially since nowadays EVERYONE uses effects and even back in the day the Beatles used Fx too, and Extensively mixed theyre stuff too. ) its about the sound. and i can make an "industrial synth" with pretty much

  • @DuKENZiREX The first industrial tracks were made by recording drills and washing machines.

Equipment is not a restriction or a label. You can make any kind of music out of anyhing. And I mean anything. You just need either skill or imagination. Or both.

  • wrong, the first "true" industrial tracks, were cavemen beating on rocks and bones

  • @ColaberMilk Wrong again. First Industrial music was attempted by God, and he got a little too carried away with all his strange roaring, booming sounds and by mistake he created the Cosmos by mistake. Then straight after they were dinosaurs... They created anolog synths so advanced that one day they pressed a key and got the wrong frequencies and their brains exploded and that's how they were extinct. TRUE FACT.

  • no, there is not god,

  • @ColaberMilk Don't agree, but everyone has a right to their opinion.

  • @THEMANOUTOFTHECAVE I think that tere was also Haos before God showed up.

Haos was the man!!! His tunes were wicked and the wickedest was called God. He crated it accidentally by spilling water from his bong all over the deck. God was such a good tune that he became self awarenes and got envy for Haose's music so he killed Him somehow. Now everyone of us has to listen shitty God's music.

    bet u smoke strong shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • @elementwywrotowy Yeah, sure...

  • Yay I know that !! And my faggy priest didnt belive me. I think Ill start a new religion.

Fell free to join the Haos Worshippers!!

  • @elementwywrotowy Ok I'll join! XD

  • LOL It smells like /b/ that where i should post it :P I think i ll .

Good to have u THEMANOUTOFTHECAVE u will do just fine as a human sacrifice :P

  • Someone needs to make an animation of that. Or a video clip. MAKE THAT A VIDEO CLIP FOR A SONG!

  • Holy shit I love this, random discovery of awesome I must say

  • Man, one of the best bands to come out of the last ten years.. JP is definitely one of my favorite musicians.

  • i agree one of the best bands of all industrial!!

  • reminds me a little bit of a invader zim style w/ katamari design. Just a little, but its brilliantly made, Love rabbit junk!!!

  • def gonna be huge, one of a kind music, and its good

  • woot nice music!! strange that i never heard of them

  • these guys will be big in a few years. If not, then they fucking deserve to be.

  • @StarInvasion They are already big. I'm not someone to praise much but they bend and mold several genres in a great way.

  • @StarInvasion

    apparently you were wrong lol

  • @StarInvasion that's funny because your comment is a year old and the video was uploaded 2006

Whatever - this is the Future :)

  • Lets hope so!

  • not again people who listen to genres and not to music. :(

    industrial

    >industrial metal

  • industrial metal all the way

  • i really want this album but i cant find it anywhere other than the website.

  • Digital hardcore

    Electronica

    Industrial metal

    Punk rock

    MfG

  • aaww... this song is great... really great.... belongs this style of music really to digital hardcore like atr?

  • In general yes this band would be in the same category of music as Atari Teenage Riot and they definately took some influence from them. This particular song though is more of a pop/electronica sound with only a sprinkling of digital hardcore throughout..thats whats good about Rabbit Junk though, the songs have variety, vs. ATR who go 100% super-hardcore on every single song, good if you want to get amped, bad if you have a headache.

  • the rabbit has 4 ears. o_O

  • LOL on what kind of stuff u where on during the video?^^

  • He's right, he has rabbit ears and normal ears.

    xD

  • NOU.

    it has 4.

    2 "rabbit" ears,

    and 2 "human ears"

    O.o

  • Anyone hear their "Start The Riot" song from The Virus Has Been Spread: Atari Teenage Riot Tribute? It's by far the best ATR cover ever done.

  • Indeed, one of the few interesting tracks on the album.

  • ёбаный нос!!!!!!!лучше группы нет на свете!

  • These guys are it

  • I miss The Shizit, but none the less its always good to see artists progress

  • omg lol so great.. i love it

  • does somebody knows where to find the cd in the internet? please write back!

  • I managed to get both albums traight off Itunes. There should be a link on their website to order the CD's if you prefer.

  • Yup go to the Rabbit Junk website, buy them from the guy so he can profit from his awesome tunes and make more :D or just rip em from some Torrent site.

  • @Edd731: this isn't some rich commercial band, I'd rather see people support him instead of downloading his work. If someone asks where to buy the CD, don't suggest downloading it from "some Torrent site".

  • Yeah I know he is not a commercial band. He is hard working etc. That's why I said buy them from him so he can profit. The sad thing is most people wont and will go for the free option. But your right, I shouldnt have said to rip them from torrent in hindsight. I bought both his first two albums from his website because I support him and the underground. He has just released a new album apparently too.

  • how about typing rabbit junk on emule?

  • why on earth did you include slipknot and static-X in your tags?

  • Probably did it to get more views.

  • Very good music!! I love your style!! Is the right mix of drum'n bass and metal, punk!! Continue on this way!!

  • kk,for hardcore, well go and listen to the rest of the albums, as for the mad caps, i recon theres alot of kyono in jp's work, and he'd be the first to admit it, but i think rabbit junk and indeed the shiznit are very differant to TMCM and polysics and all the rest of it, its orginal music, christ listen to the vocals, they are western lyrics, they are about life and society and such,

  • oh and they worded in a way TMCM would'nt do. rabbit junk are awesome in the own right, and we should'nt measure jp n sum girls stuff against the yard stick of the caps, becuase RJ is so very very differant. oh and they are digi-punk in my books.

  • RJ is sweet

  • nice song, I like it :)

  • Oh I love RJ!! I still can't believe that I found this when i was looking themes for my cell :'D that logo was so cute :D

  • Two crackers? its a fucking full band numbnuts. everything is done by front man JP himself to begin with, but live he has a full band.

And this aint some mad cap shit, yes the mad caps are amazing, yes they did inspire JP, but if ye know anything ye'd know his previous band THE SHIZIT were more like mad caps than RJ.

Rj have there won sound. deal with it.

  • OWN sound*
