  • Days of innocence before it all went tits up.

  • Blimey! It's the 1960's version of Ian Broudie ! :)

  • excellent choice g i think this song was done the same day that elephant shat on stage , you can tell as they are all checking thier shoes .

  • I wonder how envious the drummer was about not being able to join in on that dancing.

  • He made people happy I miss the 1960s RIP Freddie

  • @burnley5960 i miss the 60s also life was happier and less complicated.

  • Brilliant Footage, Freddie was such an entertainer, living for the music, not offensive and just something nice to watch in general!

  • This guy was the spitting image of my Dad, he was called freddy back in the 60's by his friends untill Buddy holly exploded in to the uk then my Dad was called Buddy

  • This was also featured on a video of "Smashy and Nicey", really funny

  • Feel a bit sorry for the drummer...he can't join in the dancing.

  • I was there (at least in England) we didn't know what we were witnessing.A time machine would be good to really appreciate the times all over again.Nostalgia (it's me i think) is great.I must be getting old but i don't care.

  • Your grandad used to be my hero when I watched Blue Peter as a very small boy. Was very sorry to hear of his rather premature passing.

  • Fantastic - this is the clip that was famously used by Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse in "Smashie and Nicey - the End of an Era" and in which Enfield was digitally (and brilliantly, from a technical perspective) inserted into the scene to hilarious effect. It can be found right here on YouTube. Thanks for posting!

  • lol.......

  • Is that Petra or Patch? Either way, they should have bit him.

  • freddie won the most wierdest fittest bloke of the 60's !

  • These guys are being deadly serious. Those moves are sincere.

  • I say...great days when this was seen as a happy moment! In the present it seems everybody's more interested in violence ...

  • the dogs thinking "this monkeys got rabies"

  • I've never seen this one. When I go to England I see Derek (lead guitarist with the blond hair and shades) and his wife. They're all nice people, but sadly Freddie and Bernie are gone.

  • And he got a Blue Peter Badge too....
