@HackerAndBootSniffer actually all military grade scopes, which require wind, elevation, bullet drop compensater, adjustable focus, etc. only run about $1,200 and for a really great one about $3,900 maybe not even that. Giving that the rifle system alone is about $8,000 and the package with optics and other gizmo's is about $11,000, you're probably looking at $2,000-$3,000 for optics :) hope this helped

OK....so what kind of groups are you getting at 2 miles....and are you shooting factory or relaoding ????

@BooBooBaer71720- I'm reloading.(125.5 grains of Reloader 25 with the 419 grain Jamison solids.) The target is 6 ft Dia. I wasn't really shooting for "groups" just hits.

@cemmiker 408 Cheytac. I set it up to shoot my 50 after getting some hits with my 408 so I sighted in at a mile (preparing for the 2 mile shot) and with my 50 can adding 18 inches and the mirage from the can I needed a mirage shield to shoot 2 miles. So I didn't attempt it with the 50 barrel. I was happy enough to connect with my 408.
