dude i am planning to buy an sx les paul..my bc rich virgin sux...its too metal..the tone is too metallic and i need to play hard rock as well as blues..so how is the tone n stuff?..and how about the fret borard n the gap between the strings n the fret board?..is it too much or low?,and also pls tell something about the thickness of the neck..thanx..cheers
if you want play blues, you need a stratocaster/telecaster.... if you want play hard rock, you need a les paul.... my suggestion is dont buy sx brand... buy a gibson/fender brand.... for me the tone is ok because it use humbucker pickup... the fret board also ok.... but the gap between the string n the freet board is little high... it is adjustable but, if i make it low like gibson it will make a freet buzz that you dont want to hear it.... sory for my bad english.... =) cheers.... =)

its a nice guitar for the price, solid wood, but bad accesories and pickups...
better than epiphone special, and lp100... i think its the same as a epi standard...
