  • Also, that last part... OW!

  • Definitely a huge departure from the real story...

    ...but still pretty epic. :o)

  • Wow, people can't take a joke.

  • so very gay

  • I wonder how the Star Trek universe would handle Halos and the Flood... The Dyson Sphere gave me the thought.

  • @albrtyy5 Probably very easily.

  • Seriously??? A hooded stranger in a dark alley talking in a strange ancient language from a planet light years away starts walking closer to you and you don't think 'Hey, maybe I should be more careful around this guy and not turn my back to him cause he might pull a knife'? Seriously that didn't occur to you, Sisko?

  • At first I was a bit put off by the revisions you've made to these videos, then I realized these videos are gloriously entertaining for those of us who know and love DS9 and have of course seen every single episode. I love your vids; however, perhaps a disclaimer to those who think they are watching the OG clips.

  • Dyson sphere?

Is it the best for hoovering galatic waste?

  • <_< I thought these videos were like a summary of the good parts of the Dominion War in sequence, skipping all the rubbish. Clearly I was mistaken. This feels like the Americans turning Macross into Robotech.

  • Can anyone tell me what the hell happened to Sisko, he got shanked for like no apparent reason

  • 90% of this has nothing to do with the dominion war. WTF.

  • Peoples, this is HIS video, meaning he can do whatever he wants with it. If you want to see the actual war, buy the series.

  • choppy,but interestingly weird.

  • choppy,but intersting.

  • this is the Scotty espisode where he and LeForged came to blows....this is BS

  • 0:10 LOL! I love it! All that's left is for you to add "Meanwhile, in Kira's bedroom ..."

  • That was funny how you had that "This is a huge victory for the good guys" line in the clip where Sisko was peeling the potatoes.

  • holy crap, crazy religeous fanatic! i wasnt expecting that! that was kinda horrific for star trek

  • really like what you have done wit this series...but this one is shit im afraid ta say...jus stick wit the usuall style thnx...

  • INDEPENDENCE DAY MIXED WITH STAR TREK IS AWESOME!!!!

  • Star Wars is all about the Evil Empire Syndrome (that is to hate, hate, hate the established capitalism system....even the American way of life.

  • I totally hate Star Wars music incorporated into Star Trek stories. Star Trek has always been about a brite future fore humanity when it comes together.

  • Most of this is just footage from the episode "Relics." Was this an actual DS9 episode?

  • Wasn't this Dyson Sphere in an episode on Next Generation?

  • What season of DS 9 did the dominion war start in?

  • wow that was funny

  • So you want to make Star Trek into Star Wars? What the hell for? What's next, you want to somehow mix and mash The Godfather with Goodfellas? How about just combine James Bond to True Lies while you are at it. Arnold can win a poker tournament while Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan double team Jamie Lee Curtis!

  • @LightYearsFromHere that's an excellent idea for a recut video. thanks

  • @LightYearsFromHere He's having fun... no reason to be upset by any of it. His previous vids jump back and forth between episodes and seasons, and there was one bizarre segment with Kira and Damar that caught me by surprise but was also fun...

  • @LightYearsFromHere listin! if he can accomplish that, then all the power to him and a directors spot as well.

  • @LightYearsFromHere ROFLMAOOOOOOOO

  • @LightYearsFromHere

wait did i see a clip from Independance day in there????? really????

  • NIce star wars stuff, you clearly have a sense of humor.

  • i dont like either one, but star wars makes mad-ass games.

  • Why oh why does Star Wars theme songs have to be put into this?? Doesn't fit here.

  • @Anthraxboy501 Oi! What the hell are Star Trek: Bridge Commander and Star Trek: Legacy??? Don't tell me those aren't mad-ass games, too!

  • I don't know why star wars fans and trekkies are always fighting to see whos best , personnaly , i don't care , i love both in their own environment , somebody that tells me that star trek suck makes me mad but the same goes to someone that says star wars sucks ..

i am a true sci-fi fanatic , i love , star wars , star trek , dune , heck i love battlestar gallactica and buck rogers .too . So , to get to the point , i love the intro to this video , i give it 5 stars . Enjoy .

  • the beginning was very funny...and thanx for the hard work you do..great job

  • lol @ begining

  • exactly

  • Eww.

  • @aperson22222 abrams effed star trek up?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Presumably a Dyson Sphere would only be constructed around a dwarf-type star as they are extremely long-lived and more stable than larger stars. But even those stars would not last forever. And the death of such a star would probably be a nonviolent cooling. What bothers me about the DS is the amount of matter required to build it. All system bodies would have to be liquidated and much more would be required. I don't see how any race of beings, regardless of advancement, could do it.

  • it would require the mass of millions of planets to construct a fully closed sphere around a star.

it is possible for an ultra-advanced civilization to do it. but such a civilization would have to be so powerful that they wouldn't need a dyson sphere.

the energy and resources needed to build it are more expensive than the energy that could be harness

  • That is why I think Ringworld is the most elegant and practical compromise.

  • @TheGreatLink don't forget that in Star Trek, matter and energy are interchangeable

  • @TheGreatLink

Well, unless they are a super civilization like Atlanteans and Sidairians.

  • @TheGreatLink

Well, unless they are a super civilization like Atlanteans and Sidairians. Check out Terra-Prime at Maveric Universe Wiki

  • @TheGreatLink

Wouldn't they just use replicators? Replicators turn energy into matter, don't they?

It would take time, but all they would need to do is replicate enough replicators.

  • @mlwwlm replicators do turn energy into matter. but it takes enormous amounts of energy to create even small amounts of matter

  • Its a matter of material. Maybe they harvest it from a Nebula? Convert those gas into solid materials.

  • @transdrole Not to mention that any gravitational imbalance, no matter how slight it is, would cause the star to start moving and slam into the inner surface of the Dyson Sphere.

  • i quite like your idea for the ancient dyson sphere with the unstable star being coopted into a military strategy without any regard to its archeological or scientific significance. Nicely exemplifies the wastage of war because with study it may have been the key to enough energy resource and production for all concerned to live peacefully .

Instead they tried to ignorantly exploit it and ended up blowing it up with their petty struggle. Talk about lack of vision. DUH!

  • this was actually a fan-fiction I once wrote.

in it Picard (on the Enterprise E) talked about how awful it was that they had to destroy a priceless archeological artifact and breakthrough technology. but they had no choice because they couldn't let it fall to Dominion hands and this was an opportunity to destroy a huge Dominion fleet which was trapped inside the sphere. most of that fleet couldn't escape fast enough through the small gate before the star exploded. Enterprise used a phase cloak

  • An intresting dilemma to be sure. If a corrupt government gained a unlimited power supply, what need would it have to remain corrupt because presumably the corruption was a means to an end and if the end has been attained or rather surpassed by this tremendous boon, why carry on with the destruction?

And if they still feel they would like to remain corrupt and destructive, with an ultimate power supply at their beckoned whim, and power being two edged, wouldn't they destroy themselves?

  • the episode at the beginning is from startrek the next generation season 6 4th episode called relics.

  • what episode is that from at the beginning, with the glalaxy class???

  • bakta bobolo sdolphpe dilofghjr !!

  • Because the part needed explaining and there is nothing in Star Trek that could do that. Thats why there is the text. The Star Wars style is a natural joke of the Dyson Sphere and the huge threat it poses. Also, the Star Wars type scrolling text is easy to add- there are probably lots of programs that can do that with 5 minutes work or less. I think TheGreatLink did a good job, especially concerning the material he worked with for this part.

  • I believe dude can do whatever he wishes to do to HIS video. Don't flip out Trekkie.

  • .. . . . .funny, with the Independence day clip

  • awesome . . . .

  • I thought DS9 was destroyed in Part 17.

  • it was. but the federation took another abandoned cardassian station to replace ds9.

this will all be explained in part 30 and 31

  • who build the dyson sphere???

  • No-one knows.

  • err didnt it blow up?

  • In this video, yes. In the show, no, not as far as I remember.

  • you've used a scene from independence day here! wtf lol

  • Noo, I like the fact he splices everything to make it new. If you want to watch the episodes unmodified they're posted already.

  • why did that lunatic kil sisco?!?!?! what a ***********...sorry. i just do NOT get the point of siscos death. poor guy

  • he didn't die

  • premonition u know every nx- number and name....did u travel back in time from the federation? or are u guessing completely? please choice A

  • What episode is the circular fortress at 7:21 from? I don't remember it.

  • Ummmm..........the Dyson Sphere is a vacuum cleaner.

    XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

  • *Applauses* for the intro...

  • The number on the galaxy class starship is 1701-D! this can't be USS Challenger.

  • All the galaxy class models are probably the Enterprise model.

  • ofc they all were since they were all in the same class as the NCC-1701D was.

  • i mean the naval contract code (NCC) on the ship. USS Challengers designation isn't 1701-D.

  • It's a clip show, what did you expect?

  • cualquiera

  • This is so fucking retarded its beyond belirf that unstable star throws out so much radiation all the jem hadar and cardasians would be dead in hours and it would take DECADES to build that many shipyards

  • the jemhadar and vorta are immune to radiation poisoning.

    there were no cardassians there.

it takes only a few weeks for the dominion to build a shipyard and start to mass product ships (as long as they have enough power sources).

  • enterprise should own all those domation ships

  • Nice work, yes.

But I am kind of shocked that Sisko put a plastic bag of trash into a garbage can.

  • i'm sure that the plastic is fully recyclable/bio-degradable in the 24th century...

  • No, they screwed up. The show is made in Los Angeles several years ago... so we should not surprised. Many developed world cities have goals to turn most trash into energy by 2025, so they wont be putting mixed bags of trash into a dustbin. Also, they are able to recycle things like in a replicator.

Do you realize that one Borg cube contains as much recyclable metal as every aluminum can every made?

  • rofl :)

  • Only thing is this didnt happen during the domminon war

  • And, so what...

  • Nothin really, just thought that this was accurate

  • no no, im not trying to insult you i was just saying, sorry

  • Gota love the Independence Day scene

  • Man I have been through the whole set and I gotta tell you this is freaking genius work, especially later on with the Breen translations. Hilarious! Great work! It makes me miss this show even more than I already do. I never get tired of watching this.

  • Dude, this really is genius type shit...very clever indeed. I agree The Great Link definitely gets a bag of gold stars for this...well fucking done my man.

  • This video says Episode 14, but the title says Episode 15? Shouldn't it be Episode 15?

  • It TNG not DS9

  • Inviting the Romulans to clean clams... ok. lmfao

  • sisko wanted to ask the romulans to join the war against the dominion

  • It's a joke. lol

  • Sisko seem to be enjoying his time...haha

  • STAR TREK FOREVER!

"Silly jedi, Star Wars is for noobs"

  • This comment, although, agreeable, is dumb. "Silly jedi, Star Wars is for noobs" WHO THE F ARE NOOBS?!?!??!??!! Answer that or perish in irony.

  • Well....Jedi do seem to always get captured by every no-name pirate / gangster / Imperial agent / Sith / even wild animals (Taranetek)

  • i think this star wars intro version fits well and screw u titanic turn u mofo noob there is indeed no reason y trekkies and star wars nuts cant like each other i mean they both have a lot in common and they are both sci fi

  • man i never saw kligon bird of prey move so quick and agile love it.

  • Very well done. that detail of put music of Star Wars was good. The part of the Klingons was very well done and the end was amazing, I am really enjoying your work. I apreciate that you have not prejudice about htat ridicolus idea of the tribes of Trekies or Trekers against the Star War fans, that itps very for teen agers and you are for sure a very mature person and was a good detail to mix this wonderfuls universe in ones.

  • I'm a fan of both so am I my own worst enemy?

  • im a huge fan of both too...no reason people cant like both

  • nice

  • A Star wars crawl intro in Star Trek? That's heresy! Trekkers and Star Wars hutts are supposed to hate one another...

  • I love the intro WELL DONE!!! *applauds*

  • 5:03 Nice inclusion of Independence Day.

The movie is a bit odd, but nice work with what you have. To my knowledge there was only 1 episode in any Star Trek that has a Dyson's Sphere, and that was from Next Generation, production 230 (season 6, episode 4)

  • now you're just getting cute

  • hey its free, quit whining or do it yourselves

  • ahhh you should have just used the main title theme from Star Trek The Motion Picture to start off this video.

  • the video seems to be made up with differint clips is that true
