I have that boxed quran but..WHAT is he doing with it over her head!!!:s :| the rituals in 'muslim' weddings are gona supercede those in hindu ones in no time! reading the words of the Quran, applying what is said and treating the messages as sacred mite do us more good then treating the boxes, hardback covers, paper,ink etc as so :P

i think you will find most of the rituals in pakistani weddings are similar to those that are indian, doesnt make it non religious though, its a culture thing not religious.
