The extended version is actually a whole lot sadder than the one in the show. "Famous people you can live through, if you don't know who you are"... Melodramatic and comedic as it is, I've always found the concept of Clone High to be a bit of a tearjerker.

I'm glad they did not continue. Such a great show and a wtf ending for the hell of it, if they did another season it would just be the same overplayed puns from the first season and end up like Family Guy or Robot Chicken doing the same tired joke. And they COULD NOT take Ghandi out of Clone High, he was the best character there, no way would it be the same, w/o him Clone High would suck.

It was permanently out on hiatus because of low ratings and high costs. Which Nelvana was not willing to pay because it wasn't popular. It's very popular now, but the creators have disbanded, so basically the series ends with everyone getting frozen. The end.
