I don't think I had laser bra by Dr Stevens but I did have a Donut lift and Augmentation and Flew in from another country to have him do it. HE IS AMAZING!!!! NO PLEATING AND PERFECT NIPPLES! IMPLANTS ARE AMAZING TOO!!! HIS WHOLE STAFF INCLUDING HIS ANASTETHIOLOGIST IS OUT STANDING!!! WORTH THE TRIP! All of the other doctors wanted a full on breast lift which iI didn't need! could have had more scars. He is the BEst!
The Laser Bra uses a triangular flap of skin that is usually discarded following surgery. This flap of skin is specially prepared ("de-epithelialized") so that it can be placed inside the breast, where it attaches from the base of the breast to the chest wall to provide internal support. After surgery, it cannot be felt but does provide the breast with more natural support, the goal being to minimize future sagging. If you would like even more info, don't hesitate to call our office!
i don't totally get it....., i've watched reduction surgeries & i've seen the incisions,so is it the same procedure plus implanting the removed (usually discarded) tissue??? do u like bury it down there & stitch over it or wat???plz reply
Since the lower skin is lasered off, what type of scarring is left and are african-americans more likely to have keloids or extremely visible scars afterwards?? Extremely concerned about how noticeable this will be post-op.
This procedure actually does not require any additional incisions beyond the standard breast lift. What is different is that a strip of skin below the breast that is usually removed is saved and specially prepared to be placed inside the breast as an internal support mechanism. If you are particularly worried about scarring, your best bet is to discuss your specific situation with a surgeon. Hope this helps!
