I read 2010 in my mind as two-thousand ten, I never really shorten things like that, I've always said for example "three thousand six hundred" instead of "thirty six hundred" otherwise I confuse myself. I also don't like telling the time like oh it's quarter to nine, no it's eight forty five. I think that's because when people would say it like that when I was a kid I never understood.

- I don't think child birth is as painful as a life of loneliness, so you best stop procrastinating and choose a method.

- Polaroids are like the slow cousin of the digital camera. It takes them a while to get it, and when they do, it lacks in quality.

I stayed at home watching movies in my room. At midnight I went outside with my dad and set off a few fireworks, and he gave me a beer, the first whole alcoholic beverage my parents have ever given me. I'm 18, a freshman at college, and a girl. So yes, for this new years I had the ceremonious "first beer with my dad". The next night was much more exciting in that some boys from my dorm kidnapped me from home and took me to set off a pretty impressive round of fireworks.

I slept over at my friends house for New Years. It was fun. Nothing special, I guess.

As for the mannerisms/6 years old thing, I definitely am one of those adamant people. Since I was 11, whenever I met somebody new: if I liked the way they wrote, spoke or any mannerism of theirs, I would try and imitate and adapt it into my regular behaviour.

My speech and writing and mannerisms in general, have changed drastically over the last 5 years because of that, haha =P
