  • Boah, Halma iss spannender...

  • plz guy..but that ball..is sugar or teflon???

  • 2:23 wasnt that a forbidden pass from the 5 men row to the 3 men row from pappas?

  • @zhujik not forbidden, since the ball never lays still, so not under controll by definition, thereby also a legal shot.

  • "when he's good he's greate and when he's not good or when he's not great he's still pretty good!!!

....I'm not sure even I understand what I just said..."

    ^^

    great comment

  • que buena remontada de callignon

  • I dunno if it was said on purpose, but I love how Jim said "who can stare Collignon in the face".. Right after Freddie's staring to the light...

  • they get the tabel legs in a right position;)

  • I played this game for the first time ever in my life last night! I immediately fell in Love with it! Question: Why do each player at 4:00 kick the table?

  • I think it's not necessary but maybe they thought that the table was not stable anymore. Sometimes the table legs can slightly bend towards the center (after shooting, e.g.). Then, by kicking the table, the legs may get re-arranged.

  • Stable it may be, but the legs of those tables can be folded in, to make them transportable. And while playing and moving the table, the legs change position and the table is not perfectly horizontal any more. This again does influence the game, so the players give the table´s legs a kick to put them back in position.

  • to stabilize the table. sometimes legs slide to table side it makes table less stable one of quick methods to avoid this is to do what they did.

Lg

  • That pass is legal...but still questionable. It's an "off the man" pass.

  • yeah, it was a bad game...billy isn't serious with the game like how he used to.

  • nice vid...whats the last bit all about???

  • yooo check out my table soccer video please

    /watch?v=RH0ywNfJNFA

  • What's this table they play on? I know far better players on Bonzini tables here in denmark.

  • They play on a TecBall Table. This is made by Lehmacher from Germany.

I don't think that you will find anyone better than Frederic Collignon. He's actually the best player in the world.

  • agree.... he is $^#$%$@#!$ good

  • wins all season long?? OMG.. I know his resulst, one second place in doubles and thats it... the rest is gold :) but no loss in singles.. incredible, maximum respect

  • No, the roll over on the tecball isn't illegal, but just not as effective as a good pull-shot, or a front-pin. Shots techniques usualy differ from table type, what proofs the talent of Papaz, who has a greaat pull shot(he even shoots apull on the belgian Jupitern and that is almost impossible) and a snake.

But Rico is just an expection, he can play his front pin on any table. And he can do so much more

  • Rico comes from another planet; probaly Planet Foos somewhere in the Tecball Constallation. This superb foos alien never ever looses. And when he does, it's because of his partner.

  • is the rollover illegal on tecball?

  • Nope, rollover is legal on all ITSF events, rules are general for all tables.

  • Not really, a friend of mine uses that shot alot, and from that position you can bank it of both sides, + a quick push kick, and a variaties of straigt shots, and pappas is defending with all bars, if u pay close attention

  • I have to disagree with you. Pappas may be defending with all rods but he's not defending well. Look at the 5:34 mark of the video and you will see the hole wide open.

It's much wiser to defend the straight shot (which is what Collignon did) as the precentages of scoring are much higher than an attempted bank shot. Also the allowed reaction time is far less on a straight shot than a push kick.

Sorry, but IMO Pappas played that shot wrong.

  • Furthermore, defending with your elbow on the three rod is useless unless you're playing zone defense. You can't move the rod to chase the shot with your elbow. At the least, if he was going to do that, he should have placed his three man in front of the ball, forcing Collignon to move the ball to shoot, lowering the probability of goal.

You only put your elbow on the three rod to play zone defense. And what's the point of palying zone defense if you leave the straight hole wide open?

  • Great match but I got to say - that was terrible defense by Pappas on the last goal. He left Rico with wide open 2 man without placing his 3 man in front of him. Why would he try to defend with the remaining 5-2-1 rods? Makes no sense IMO. It would have been alot wiser to defend zone with the 2, 5 and 1 rod and attempt to stop Rico's 2 man with the 3-rod. Especially since Rico wasn't pinning the ball (which makes it harder to defend).

Pappas gave Rico the game there.

  • Rico and pappas, best two in the world.

  • ich war dabei :-)

  • nice
