Yes, RAW finally broke Nitros winning streak after Austin won his first belt. But it wasn't until the Rock won his first belt that RAW started beating Nitro week after week until the end of the war in 2001. Also, RAW's highest rated segment featured.... yes, the Rock. Just saying....

Stone Cold is better than the Rock. Take Stone Cold's character out of WWF and put that Stone Cold character in WCW and Rock wouldnt be good enough to carry WWF like Stone Cold did. Stone Cold is the reason WWF slaughtered WCW in the ratings war (although WCW weak storylines helped). Every OFFICIAL source has Stone Cold better than the Rock in all categories. Rock fans get real butt hurt when you dont call Rock the GOAT. Ric Flair in his HOF speech called Austin the GOAT, John Cena on the Tonight Show with Leno called Austin the greatest ever. Obviously going to Hollywood has helped Rock con-substantiate his success but between 96-04 Stone Cold dominated the WWE and why do you think they call the 96-01 era when both Austin and Rock were there on an every week basis "The Austin Era"

He didnt speak to Vince for years bc he was so pissed he left, wrestlers take a lot of pride and there not going to let some guy who "sold out" be recognized as the best ever. Vince said he was the biggest star in 98 before Rock took off and he didnt compare them again till 04 when he hated the Rock for leavin, they didnt even speak for years. Once your on top of the hill it doesnt matter if your a heel, Rock was a heel in 03 but he was a heel in 98/99 but said Vince knew he was so popular they had to cut his feud with Austin short and turn him.
