That's 'bubblegum' disco. Siouxsie's favourite haunts as a teenager were gay clubs - where she could dance. I was a sophmore at the Univ. of Florida when this came out and for the first time every I found myself really attracted to an older woman, Siouxie in this video. It kinda freaked me out. I could tell she was well into her 30's or nearly 40 and I was thinking damn what if I met a woman who looked like her, I'd have to make it happen.
