I saw KISS alive 35 and this year sonic boom live in milan. The best show in my life! I saw aerosmith, deep purple, rolling stones, ac/dc but nothing compares KISS! Their shows are really explosive they got so much energy to give from the beginning to th end of the show! They are the hottest band in the world! Gene and Paul are legends but I really think Tommy and Eric are incredible too!! Eric is a Bomb!!!

I just don't understand the STAND INS for the REAL Ace and Peter. To me, that is short changing the fans, and cheapening the whole "KISS" concept. Maybe it's just me? I'm pretty sure Paul had a head cold, he moves around totaly fine but his singing could have been caused by a sore throat from too much stress (perhaps from recording the new album) or a cold. Anyway, I agree he can do better but to his defence, he could of had a cold.

yes, Gene and Paul are wearing wigs, Gene's gut is bigger...but they're both pushing 60! and it's not Peter and Ace, but Eric Singer has been with them for years and Tommy is a VERY competent (and sober) guitar player. overall, i honestly think it's the best thing KISS has done in probably 20 years!

When I heard the band was releasing a new record I expected an over-produced, Pro Tools extravanganza a la "Psycho Circus". Yet this tune recalls "Rock and Roll Over" era-KISS to me, and that's pretty damned exciting.

Ace would've smoked this track and there's a gaping hole in the band where he should be, so that's a bummer. I can live with Singer (w/o Peter's makeup on) but really would've loved to hear what Eric Carr (R.I.P.) would've done with this track.

I do credit Thayer & Singer for the rejuvenation of the band, its chops, and its sound. You can really tell the group is proud of and into the song, and that's more than half the battle.

I'll be damned if they didn't make me a believer again. I might have to visit 'ole Sam and give Gene some more of what he loves...

KISS will never stop as long as Gene can squeeze another penny out of tours and products. I used to worship KISS, and still have all the old stuff(vinyl!), but dropped out of the KISS Army when I saw Gene being shallow and in it for just the money, not the music. I'm glad I have the old concerts on tape. I just can't see paying $125 or more a ticket to see *this*. But some people will pay anything and will see them every tour -- more power to them.

Dude...Ace and Peter barely played on "Psycho Circus" except the songs they sang on. People don't realize that Ace and Peter are just face icons in the band. Half of the time they were not even on the records. Gene and Paul are just finally getting back to letting the whole band play the music again because this time they can.

Regardless....there is alot of bad blood there and a reunion is almost certianly not gonna happen before they hang it up. True that Peter and Ace didnt play on half of the albums but it was more because they were treated as second bananas and told what to do...treated like children and not given much of an opportunity to contribute. Gene and Paul were in charge and they made sure that everyone knew it. It was not fun for either Ace or Peter for all they had to put up with. Too much ego!

Eric almost got the boot if not for Gary Corrbett, I mean really. Yeah, Paul's voice is definitely fatigued in this clip. He was still on top of his game when I saw him on the Psycho Circus tour in '98, but he's gone downhill in the decade since.

i was listening to the KISS Klasics disc on the new album and am worried about Pauls voice as well. on I was made for loving you, the 3rd time he sings "I cant get enough" is usually very high, but not on this version recorded in 2007
