  • As usual this video does not show that Rachel Maddow omitted one minute from Bradlee's piece. Nor does it show you the second piece where show pulls her first declaimer down. And thirdly, Rachel heightens the accusation therefore revealing her malicious intent and clear defamation. Rachel also pulled from several different shows to make it out to be one. Next time tell the whole truth. Bradlee is fighting to protect the kid's (Jerry Sandusky) so put it into perspective.

  • Liberals alway use emotional cartooon logic ... Hmmm when these same liberals called President Bush Hitler they loved it and cheered it Hypocrite ... The point about gays is God calls it sin just as many things are sin.The answer is Jesus God who came in the flesh. The point about Islam which Liberal seem to love .Is any gay in a islamic country would be killed .But Rachel Maddow won't speak against this fact because she fear Islamic attack on her self. Bradlee was making a point about this .

  • Romans1:21 they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.26 Because this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error

  • Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools

  • Check out his "My War" 5 DVD set filled with all things Bradlee, like persecution of christians by the radical left wing homosexual lobby, radical left wing homosexual lobby infiltrating our public schools, the persecution of Bradlee Dean by the radical left wing homosexual lobby, you get the picture. Apparently they're not selling too well, he started posting them on YOUtube. The guy says nutty things, and occasionally pops into the national spotlight when he does something extremely stupid

  • If Rachel had not lied and pieced together several broadcasts of Bradlee Dean's there would not have been a problem. If you all had brains like you claim you would check out both sides. Oh yeah you might have to admit she is a liar! Much easier to attack someone for their beliefs.

  • I'd adore TRMS w/o the hilarious story titles, but seeing "Scary Home Companion" as the header for this story is such the perfect finishing touch. Hilarious!

  • If I have 4/5's of my brain removed, can I be a part of Bradlee's ministry, too? Goddamn! His lack of talent is only exceeded by his lack of brains. Rachel has everything he lacks: brains, balls and talent. God.

  • He wasn't saying that a foreign enemy is coming b/c we're not killing the gays. He saying that a foreign enemy is coming b/c we are going against GOD's Word. GOD is all loving and forgiving, but if we turn our backs on Him, how can you expect Him to protect us? You have to give to get...for He is the one who created us and gave us LIFE

  • @VideoExpostulations - And those numbers are only the "catholic priests". They don't include all the other split off christian church sects. Now THAT is a scary fact.

  • Via CNN "Children accused more than 4,450 priests of sexual abuse between 1950 and 2002, according to a draft survey for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops." The report is based on a nationwide survey of church records. Maybe he could use truths instead of falsehoods to support his twisted idea of Christianity.

  • On average, Bradlee Dean offends 117 people who hear him speak, the 118th exercises the mute button.

  • @ChildrenOfOrwell Truth offends those who are in darkness ...

  • He can claim "deceptive editing" all he wants, but this is an accurate depiction of the garbage he says and it is pretty clear where he stands. He can't take the high road now.

And did he ever call out James O'Keefe for this "deceptive editing" he hates so much? Or FoxNews? Hmmmm.

F@#K YOU, Bradlee. You little baby. You little suck. I'm sorry you made such a mess of your life and Daddy never loved you, but seriously, shut up now. You professional bomb thrower/victim, you.

  • being a christian should be a crime

  • Christianity is a mental disorder. Same as Islam and the others.

Only children and the insane believe in invisible beings.

  • where the hell did all these crazy freaks come from ?? were they out there all this time but just hiding out ? I knew we had crazy assholes like Bradlee Dean but in such numbers is a surprise ...the scumbag politicians should be the ones being killed ..they are pure evil like Bradlee Dean ...just perverse in their minds

  • The full audio is easy to find. You can hear it on Youtube "Bradlee Dean Says Gays Are Criminal Predators."

  • @icaredor

THANK YOU! This is what I've been consistently asking for.

    /watch?v=DOYF2Og1nMI

  • She is a hate fill left wing extreme socialist who lies more often than not!

  • @rykerstevens She's actually quite sweet, I ran into her on the street a few years ago and chatted for 5 mins or so. Hope that clears THAT right up! :)

  • @rykerstevens

Yes she is very hateful, criticizing people for encouraging the execution of homosexuals. Gee lady, how mean can you get? Next thing you know she's gonna say it's wrong to stone women for knowing how to read. Goddamn liberals.

  • @kingboobs20 - Dean did not encourage the execution of homosexuals. He compared Muslims executing homosexuals to his ministry of reaching out to homosexuals.

Are any of you people honest? Ever?

  • Fuggedaboutit! This is just a nuisance lawsuit to raise Dean's profile, and will probably be thrown out of court. As a public figure, Dean may be criticized, even misrepresented with impunity. Dean cannot prove that damage has occurred to his profile or livelihood because of Maddow's comments. However, MSNBC may be able to prove that this action against them has cost them legal fees, which the courts may award them.

  • If this video can't get people to see Rachel is in the clear, I don't know what can.

  • @rockyrigby - In the clear? She deceptively edited Dean's statements! This is the most damning video against her.

  • @JMcH What was specifically edited out? Do you have transcripts of Dean's broadcast?

  • @rockyrigby

    /watch?v=DOYF2Og1nMI

  • @SailorBarsoom Anything TRMS edited out was completely irrelevant to his statements. Had she added that extra drivel, the quote would sound just as ignorant and homophobic as the clip she played on her fantastic show.

  • @rockyrigby

I agree. Having now listened to the entire clip, I think Maddow has nothing to worry about.

  • @JMcJ -- if Mr. Dean never said this, why don't you stop whining and post the audio of what he "really" said -- it's very easy to find. Because claiming Maddow butchered the audio to make "someone say something they never said," if she didn't, is lying.

  • @icaredor - Yes, it's very easy to find. So are the transcripts of what he said. He never called for the execution of homosexuals. His statement is 2-3 times longer than what Madcow deceptively presented. Here's the part she conveniently left out which proves that she's a defaming liar and that Dean's lawsuit is both legitimate and winnable:

  • @icaredor - "Because these people are livid about enforcing their laws, they know homosexuality is an abomination. And I continually reach out to the homosexual communities on this radio show, and I warn them, which ones love? Here you have Obama condemning it behind the backs of the homosexuals but to their faces he's promoting it." [continued]

  • @icaredor - "I say this to my gay friends out there the ones that continuously nitpick everything I say. Hollywood is promoting immorality and the God of the Heavens in Jesus names is warning you to flee from the wrath to come, yet you have Muslims calling for your execution."

  • @JMcH This doesn't disprove what Maddow claims? BTW, you edited off Mr. Dean saying, "Read Leviticus 26 America."

Mr. Dean states that the Judeo Christian God's law calls for homosexuals to be killed. Mr. Dean thinks Christians should obey God's laws "because upholding the laws that are even in the Bible" is "moral."

[If Mr. Dean is on the record as saying, "God is plain wrong; His laws are immoral," or "God is right but Christians should ignore him," please correct me and provide a link.]

  • @icaredor - It actually does disprove what Madcow claims. She's trying to say he's calling for the executions of homosexuals, but he's actually warning them of what the Muslims will do to them vs. what he's doing (i.e. reaching out and loving them).

I didn't intentionally edit off the Lev. 26 sentence. It was not a part of what was quoted on the site I cut and pasted from.

  • @icaredor - Yes, the OT Law calls for homosexuals to be killed, but when Christ came, he fulfilled the Law for us and called us to love others and try to lead them to repentance. If we don't do that or if people refuse to repent, then God will judge us and them according to the Law instead of giving us grace through Christ.

  • Mr. Dean warns his gay friends of what? That because homosexuality is an "abomination" God is going to have them killed in "the wrath to come." Christians are obligated to do the killing because it's God's law, but if Christians fail to do this, God will instead use Muslims to kill homosexuals.

Mr. Dean then commands America to read Leviticus 26. This lists the punishments Americans can expect God to dispense to them if they don't obeying His laws.

  • @icaredor - No, that is absolutely not what Dean or the Bible said about Christians. We're not obligated to kill anyone. We're called to love people and lead them to repentance. If Christians don't do that or if people refuse to repent, then God will judge us according to the Law and, according to Lev. 26 (which Dean references), He will allow our enemies to defeat us (as he did with Israel many times). Muslims will murder homosexuals. Christians won't. Which would you prefer?

  • @JMcH

So, Christians should love, not kill, homosexuals and urge them to repent so that God doesn't let Muslims invade the country and kill them (I guess God has to rely on Muslims now that the Cold War is over and he can't depend on Communists anymore). Of course, those Muslims are likely to kill a bunch of Americans who are not homosexuals, but oh well.

Dean has every right to believe this, and to express it on the radio. But Maddow has the right to call him on it.

  • @SailorBarsoom - "Christians should love, not kill, homosexuals"

    Yep.

    "and urge them to repent"

    Yep.

"so that God doesn't let Muslims invade the country and kill them"

Yep. (Or whomever. Might not necessarily be Muslims.)

"those Muslims are likely to kill a bunch of Americans who are not homosexuals"

Yep. Just like enemies killed Israelites who were very faithful to God.

"But Maddow has the right to call him on it."

She doesn't have a right to defame him using dishonest editing.

  • @JMcH

It's kind of hard for me to understand Dean, because he is of the "God is an asshole and I like it that way" school of Christianity and I'm not. It's almost like an argument in the 13th Century between a peyote-eating North American shaman and a mead-drinking gothar of Odin.

His filing of a lawsuit for misrepresentation does make him guilty of hypocrisy, which isn't a crime, but my memory of Sunday school would suggest that it is a sin.

And I do not think he will win his case.

  • @SailorBarsoom - Dean's idea of God comes directly from the Bible. God loves sinners, desires their repentance, does not take pleasure in their death, but does eventually act with justice if they don't repent.

  • @JMcH

And never mind the innocents, nay, the faithful who are killed in the process. I can understand wanting a God who smites your enemies, but Dean wants a God who will smite everybody. It's OK, though, as long as we can blame it on the homosexuals.

Sorry, that kind of God is not appealing to me. Really, with a God like that, why do you need a Devil?

  • @SailorBarsoom - God is a God who already "smites" everyone. Some are "smote" by the weapons of enemies. Others peacefully in their beds when they are elderly. In either case, God is still acting in perfect justice. We all are sinners and we all deserve to die. The only person in history who didn't deserve to die was Jesus Christ, and he willingly died for you so that you could repent and put your faith in him so you wouldn't have to face God's just wrath.

  • @JMcH

So God's going to kill us all, because we all deserve it.

Thanks. I'll go drop that acid and start screwing random people of both sexes now. Seems it makes no difference.

And now that the conversation has reached this point, I'd like to drop out. We aren't even talking about Maddow and Dean any more.

  • americans are their crap christianity are the biggest joke on the planet.

    STUPID AMERICANS!!

  • 2:00

    Bradlee's lawsuit dies right there.

  • @SailorBarsoom - Yeah, because she made that oh-so clear and didn't use any sarcasm to downplay Dean's statement.

  • @JMcH

So... she played and showed HIS ACTUAL WORDS, and then she she INCLUDED HIS DISCLAIMER, including QUOTING IT HERSELF, but she didn't fall all over herself to make him look good.

Yep, that's so sueable. And note that she isn't the only one who can use sarcasm.

  • @SailorBarsoom - She played and showed her selectively edited actual words in order to create a false portrayal of what he said. That is what is actionable. Listen closer to the audio. The ham-fisted editing failed to cover up the audio cuts.

"And note that she isn't the only one who can use sarcasm."

Wow. You're pretty sharp, there, Sparky.

  • @JMcH

She had the ellipsis; she didn't cover up the cut. She isn't obligated to spin it his way. Let him do his own damn spinning.

  • @SailorBarsoom - Madcow's ellipses, cuts and spin are the exact reason Dean is pursuing this lawsuit. You can seriously warp a person's words using ellipses, cuts and spin.

  • @JMcH

We will have to wait and see how it goes. Considering some of the things people have sued, and won, over, I can't say that it's impossible. If you can sue over the fact that coffee is hot, well.

How about you, or somebody reading this, provide us with what was behind those ellipses? Is there a clip which plays the whole thing? We could hear for ourselves if it's significant.

  • @SailorBarsoom - I just did for another poster. Please look for it. It paints quite a different picture than what Madcow dishonestly presented.

  • @JMcH

You typed. I don't see any link to the audio. I thought what you typed was out of order, but having now listened to some of his stuff I can't tell; that that's just how he talks. I get the feeling I'd understand him better if I dropped acid. Now, I've never dropped acid, and I ain't about to start for Bradlee Dean.

However, his weird way of talking does mean that misrepresenting him by selective editing might be easy to do. So again I ask: audio. Please. Anybody.

  • @SailorBarsoom - What I cut and pasted is the full statement as quoted by several sources. Look it up yourself if you doubt me. You can find many of your favorite left-wing rags quoting it. If you want the full audio, perhaps you should ask Madcow. Oh, no, wait. She'd just give you the butchered version. As far as the order, I don't know. Perhaps it's the way it appears on YouTube. I posted one the "see all comments" page, but perhaps you're reading them from the video page.

  • @JMcH

Yeah, YouTube has a strange way of ordering posts posted one after the other in quick succession. Not your fault. Fortunately, icaredor told us how to find the audio, and I listened to it.

It's just as Maddow said, except the whole Leviticus thing 26 thing (and please do read it, people). Bradlee Dean never explicitly called for the execution of gays(Maddow includes that), but he does rather strongly suggest that God...

    durned character limit

  • Comment removed

  • @SailorBarsoom - No, it's not just as Madcow said. She excised the large key portion where Dean said he loved the homosexuals and was trying to warn them. Dean also did not say or even suggest that God would like it if homosexuals were executed or persecuted. God does not take pleasure in the deaths of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:21-23), but if they refuse to turn to him and reject their sins, then there is justice to be served.

  • I find Bradlee Dean highly offensive. He and others like him seems to be followers of Satan more than followers of Christ. There words and actions tend to undermine true Christianity. Christianity is a religion of love not hate.

  • @JanKirb - Don't believe liars like Maddow.

  • Comment removed

  • @JMcH

Just stop it, I have actually listened to full radio broadcasts this guy has done, he is clearly a hatemongering psychopath, no deceptive editing needed. Stop trying to deny the blatantly obvious.

  • @kingboobs20 - Quote him to prove your assertion. (Oh, and don't pull a Maddow and deceptively edit the quote.)

  • @JMcH OK, he tries to stay more vague on promoting execution of gays, but he is never, ever vague about his wish for sodomy laws to be put back on the books and enforced in states in which they are just ancient and ignored (as they should be). So, that he doesn't go over to the execution side explicitly makes his advocacy of criminalizing the very sex lives of LGBTs ok with you? (I'd cite the instances, but I actually sat through various shows a few mos. ago. If desperate, can probably find)

  • @LexeconKiddo

"his advocacy of criminalizing the very sex lives of LGBTs"

It's not just gays... in several states, any penetrative act other than missionary position vaginal intercourse was defined as "sodomy," even if between husband and wife.

Hell, a highschool kid scoring his first blowjob, a lonely chick with a vibrator, a wife riding cowgirl-- all "sodomy" in several states prior to 2003. It's not just a bout anal sex between men, as much as some Rightists would like to revise history

  • in the end, he's just shooting himself in the foot with this lawsuit - greater publicity means more people now know what a homophobic tool he is - & Michelle Bachmann by extension

  • @nezzynez - Scared, ain't ya?

  • You people are so ignorant. I listen to Bradlee Dean's radio broadcast and I actually heard the show he supposedly called for the execution of gays. Interestingly enough Rachel Maddow's reports leave out 45 sec. of audio, why do you think there is a ... on her audio piece. Furthermore if she new that was not his intent why would she report again on it without acknowledging his official statement. Reporters are not allowed to put words in his mouth like calling for an upping of blood shed.

  • @letsgetitright2 - Yep. And you can hear the audio cuts where they butchered his statements.

  • @letsgetitright2

Can somebody PLEASE post a link to this audio?

  • @icaredor - No. If you butcher some audio (listen carefully for the edits) to make someone say something they never said, you're lying.

  • she did say that they did not call for the execution of homosexuals, but he is angry because she played his words for everyone to hear

  • @7pablomarmol - Did you notice how butchered his words were? Maddow and her crew edited them quite dishonestly.

  • Aren't conservatives supposed to be the party of tort reform? So why are they always bringing frivolous lawsuits against people they disagree with?

  • @Cirvantes123 - Defamation is not frivolous. Ever.

  • @JMcH Except that its not defamation if its the truth.

  • @Cirvantes123 - What Madcow presented (and always presents) is not the truth.

  • Haha that's funny! He's gonna have to pay her legal fees. That's great!

  • @nultdog - Not if he wins, which he will.

  • It's interesting to hear guys like Bill O say that Anders Breivik isn't a "real Christian" because he killed all those people, and then see Bradlee Dean and his ilk saying that NOT killing people is being a bad Christian.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard - Wrong on so many levels. Breivik himself made it very clear that he wasn't a Christian and Dean never advocated killing anyone. It's comments like yours that prove Dean has a rock-solid case and will eventually win.

  • @JMcH He praised Muslims for killing homosexuals and said that if America doesn't that god will create an enemy to destroy America. Breivik called himself a Christian specifically and was fighting to preserve the "Christian culture" of Europe by murdering people.

As for Dean winning, I doubt it. Either humanity will overcome its religious childishness or it will destroy itself in a big jihad-crusade-armageddon. And non-belief in religion is on the rise.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard - Dean never said any such thing. Go find the unbutchered audio instead of mindlessly swallowing Madcow's b.s. Also, Breivik only sided with the "Christian culture" of Europe because it stood against what he saw as a greater problem: Islam. Breivik advocated secularism and Darwinism over religion. He did not pray or go to church. He is as much "Christian" as Richard Dawkins is for liking to sing Christmas carols about baby Jesus.

  • @JMcH I listened to the original. It was even worse. : (

  • @nicksum29 - I have, too. Dean never said anything like what Madcow is lying about.

  • @nicksum29

Can you link me to WHERE you listened to the original? I know YouTube won't let you post full, clickable links (which is about stupid), but you could (if it's on YouTube) just post the /watch?blahblahblah part.

  • @BigMikeMcBastard - Dean will win because he can absolutely prove that Madcow's manipulated his statement via both editing (ham-fisted at best) and commentary (sarcasm and snark).

  • Oh my God! Quoting someone directly--in fact, just playing his quotes--that's defamation!

  • @MaryJesusJoseph

is that meant ironic sorry not native speaker:-)

  • @MaryJesusJoseph - Are you stupid? She selectively edited his quotes. The audio breaks are pretty evident.

  • @JMcH You're the one who's stupid. The man's a bigot who has said that violence against GLBT pepole is justified. If you're too stupid to understand that you shouldn't be allowed to use your computer.

  • She's quoting him directly, from his own radio show. As usual, the "party of personal responsibility" doesn't want to take responsibility for what they say. But thanks for getting the word out!

  • @alwsdad - She's quoting carefully excerpted, but poorly edited, segments to make him say something he never said.
