o my god satyr wongraven had no fucking hair in 1993 what the fuck. satyricon is the greatest norwegian black metal band i've ever heard. there album volcano was classic. i wish nero was black metal but i think they mix death metal in there sound today. still the standard for true norwegian black metal.

I know this band and have almost all of their albums. That saying that goes something like this....I like the OLDER version of Satyricon better than the new version, would be true with me. Their latest release "The Age Of Nero" isn't as strong as their "Rebel Extravaganza" era stuff let alone their seminal beginnings.
