This was quite possibly one of the greatest hockey games ever played.

It was without a doubt one of the greatest games ever played. As a Rangers fan it was tough to accept, because the Rangers played as well as they could possibly play in that series. I was 12, and after Morrow scored I cried.

@dzanier You know what I can't find? A video of Maloney's last-minute goal from this game. I know people who still swear up and down from both Isles fans and Rag fans whether or not it was a high stick.

@goisles I have that game on tape from when I taped it back then. I also have the radio broadcast on tape from that night. The shaft of the stick can not be high then the Shoulder, if you look at the tape, the BLADE is a tad higher than his Shoulder, but the shaft is not, that is why a-lot of people I think get confused. He also was off balance and reaching to tap it with the stick, so to raise the stick he would have missed.

The goal was good..........but Moses goal at the end was better : )

Game 6 vs. Philly in '80, game 5 vs. Pittsburgh in '82, & this game - EXTREMELY tense crowd, but when they came through, NO building was louder!! Awesome times growing up going to these games.
