Go to ~/Library/Preferences and delete the com.panic.CandyBar3.plist

For all those who may have a problem having the App save the preferences,you probably were running an older version of Candy Bar. Back up your containers somewhere safer (User Name/Library/Application Support/Candy Bar) then use something like App cleaner to wipe the old data. Then install this new version. It should work.
