Questions for those defending Romney's unconcern with the poor.. If food stamps , welfare and other social programs were really a "saftey net"....... Why worry about those in the middle class becoming poor? , Why aren't these safeguards actually helping the impoverished out of their current situation? And Why would anyone choose to be poor? Think about it...You'll find that the answser is a little more complex than just leaving them to fend for themselves....................

I'm not concerned about the rich. They will have their capital gain tax reduced to zero.
I'm not concerned about the poor. I can't take anything more from them. They are broke already.
I'm concerned about the middle class. They are the ones who can afford more taxes to pay for the wars I promote, to give to Israel [our friends we have to support], and to pay for bailouts.

A few hours ago candidate Mitt Romney faced the American people and said he does not care about poor people. Simply stating he will continue on the same path of protecting the rich and be a President the same way he and his bosses ran Bain Capital. Why is he worry about Obama's 3yrs in office and the economy is becoming better? Mitt Romney will ignore the poor,the poor middle class and continue on his same greedy path he has done for the years stealing money with Bain Capital

It's funny that Romney isn't concerned about the very poor only the middle class. Evidently he isn't aware that in the current economy, many of the very poor are formerly middle class. If this was a Freudian slip, it speaks volumes.

@buzzclick500 You guy took Romney's comment out of context. He said he cares mostly about the 95% shrinking middle class because that where taxes come from. He does not care about the rich because they can take care of themselves. He does not have to "WORRY" about the poor because there are "SAFETY NETS" that take care of the poor like welfare, medicare, unemployment and other social programs. If you were taking an English class and you take words out of context like this, you would get an F.
